What an amazing hotel and the best staff ever. We were greeted at the reception with smiling faces and told if we needed anything just to ring reception. The room was fabulous and HUGE! The food was out of this world and I’ve already booked my next stay at this truly wonderful hotel. Everyone that works there makes this hotel shine and could teach many in hospitality how the job should be done. I can’t wait too come back.
Boasting views over Derbyshire and Bolsover Castle, here you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and benefit from the peace and tranquillity of a rural yet accessible location.

Bedroom and bathroom pristine. Hypno beds were very comfortable. Night-time Thursday and Friday was very peaceful. Lovely quiet area.

Practically located right by the M1, meaning I could drive North and simply turn off the road and get into a comfortable bed without fussing in finding a place to stay after my long drive and long working day. No frills but perfectly adequate. Good value too with an ample breakfast too. The reception staff were friendly and helpful too.

The room looked new, the bathroom too. Everything was really clean.
Also the pub downstairs was nice.

Brilliant location for visiting Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle.
Loved the market town vibe and the twisted spire on the church was fascinating. No climbs inside, til the spring and summer though.
Some fascinating architecture to see and a brilliantly helpful Tourist Information Office where we got a couple of town walk maps.

Second only visit to the city of the "Twisted Spire" even though only for a brief stay over pleasant enough. Have to add the young lady who booked us in at the Spread Eagle was absolutely charming and a credit...will surely have no hesitation in re-booking...so it's a Ten! from Len :)

What attracted me was the proximity to Chatsworth and the Peak District. Quick drive to and from Baslow.
Did not eat in Chesterfield but in the "Il Lupo" in Baslow (excellent Italian restaurant)

The outdoor market...what a joke, only a handful of stalls!
The outdoor market...what a joke, only a handful of stalls! Not worth a trip. No disrespect to those who work there but the place was empty!!! We spent more money on parking!!! Nice meat purchased at the indoor market and theres a well stocked cheese shop. The council need to update their website and let travellers know what to expect from the town centre.
Can't think of any reason to return.
The room was large with a couple of comfy chairs and small table which were ideal for relaxing. The bed was large and very comfortable. The en-suite had a bath with shower and the water was hot. The room was nicely decorated and spotless. Breakfast was provided on the landing outside the room and there was plenty of choice. We took ours back to the room and ate in there. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was one of the best steaks I have ever been served.
Hotel in the central old Market Square. As expected of a Wetherspoon Hotel - the room was spotless, modern and comfortable with a big tv, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful which is not always the norm. We reserved a parking space for £10 which is well worth it as their are only minimal spaces.
We had a fantastic stay here! Really great value, quiet and cozy. We stayed here as it was local to family in Chesterfield. I would absolutely recommend it. Really lovely, helpful staff and the common areas were nicely decorated. Walking distance to a nice park / nature reserve too! Would gladly stay here again!
Perfect spot for If your working away, or having a weekend away! Easy to find, easy to park, Spotless, 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen/living room…perfect if you want to cook and have a night in..and a big TV!
It’s only a 10min walk to the centre of Chesterfield too which was ideal!
Location not great. Chesterfield is being rebuilt! The hotel was great. A total restoration of an old historic building done at great expense. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice bar, good food. Bedroom very clean and smart. Good private parking area.
We have stayed there a few times now, the staff are really polite and friendly.
Everything is always explained to us on arrival.
Can not fault the Casa Hotel, definitely recommend.
Hoping to stay in the balcony hot tub rooms soon as we can get a date 😍
Great style & atmosphere, the staff were very professional. The restaurant is very high end with excellent food & service.
I don't usually sleep well on a one night stay in a hotel, but slept like a log on the very comfortable bed.
We would definitely stay again, it's a very nice hotel and very convenient for family. The room was of an excellent standard and had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good.
all food exceptional room amazing everything about this hotel is brilliant.Staff polite nothing is too much trouble.
Ideal location just outside Chesterfield close to Bakewell and other tourist areas.
Our room was large and well appointed. The location of the hotel is convenient for both access from the M1 and Chesterfield town centre. The hotels grounds and beautiful and very well maintained.
Location good for visiting Chesterfield Town centre and Chatsworth and some friends in the area. A nice extra was having a goodie basket. The studio was well planned and warm.
Lovely room - comfy bed - great shower - stayed in room 3
SLow with coming back with invoice had to chase
Breakfast was OK small and tasted deep fried rather than grilled
Was clean, staff were friendly. Tea/coffee in room, shower gels / shampoo available, water fountain in reception. Ideal location for centre of Chesterfield
