Property was amazing. My husband found the stairs were difficult for him as he has disabilities and we were not aware that the stairs were very steep but with assistance we managed. Had a bit of a problem with the key code but that soon got sorted and we got in. The owner was very good at answering any questions that we had. All the facilities were very good.

I think that Cromer is a good base as it has better facilities than other towns/villages nearby but I also feel it is a bit crowded and tired. There are lots of beautiful places to visit nearby however and top of our list would be Well Next the Sea/Holkham beach, Holt and Norwich. If you visit Norwich don't miss the Cathedral Quarter as it is so peaceful and beautiful plus free to enter and look around.
Holkham beach at Wells is absolutely stunning and incredibly clean. Consider hiring a beach hut as they are fabulous and at £65 for a full day (9:30 - whenever you want to leave) are good value if you want to stay on the beach with a picnic all day.
Holt is a beautiful Georgian town with lots of independent shops where you can easily pass 3-4 hours.
We frequently drove along the coast road (A149) and simply stopped off at villages along the way - there are far too many to mention but standouts would be Blakeny and Cley.
Overall I would say this area is lovely and especially if you like walking but you need good weather.

One of the most friendly Towns I have ever visited, would love to live there ❤️, lovely people who were happy to stop and chat, help with directions etc. or talk about their pets. Just couldn’t fault staff in shops or cafes and some lovely places to eat tbat were reasonably priced and good VFM with portion sizes. The show on the pier far exceeded our expectations, so entertaining and tickets only £26 each, again great value. Loved the slower pace of the area, driving was a pleasure too, just all round lovely.

Plenty of different shops to visit but some of them shut on a Wednesday which is frustrating when you are only there on a short break. Good tourist information with plenty of leaflets for trips out nearby. We were too early in the season for some.

An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style.
An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style. Nowadays a dated holiday gem best appreciated by older people. Full of nostalgia for over 60s as it brings back memories of childhood holidays. Lovely pier, beach and Cliff path walks.
Excellent sea food . Easy railway access to Norwich city and good road access to fascinating historical places all round the county.
Apartment is comfortable with nice tables outside and kitchen is lovely and well stocked. The town is a 20 minute walk away either through the street or down a cliffside path from the lighthouse. The path is stunning. Perfect for families or if you love golf, since the course is right next door. There is a pool and restaurant but I did not use either. There is limited public transport so if you don't want to walk to town, then it is better suited for people with cars.
Customer service was excellent and all hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping did a great job servicing the room. Breakfast had good quality ingredients. Swimming pool was good fun for a bit of leisure time and the provision of towels and booking to a certain capacity of swimmers was a great idea. The hotel was perfectly situated for West Runton station which meant a 4 minute train journey to Cromer or the other way to Sheringham.
We have stayed at Cromer country club several times. We were 6 lady’s celebrating a 80th birthday. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, everything we needed was there. Take away on Friday night was very good, swimming in the morning was great water nice and warm. Cromer is a lovely place had a walk into town afternoon tea at the Clifftonville hotel. Back to our apartment which was lovely and warm for games and drinks.
The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, which was great to come back to after a day in Cromer town. The house was just the right size for our group of 6 friends, and we could all fit on the couch to watch a movie at night. In addition, the kitchen was nicely equipped with cooking oil, spices, tea, and coffee so we easily made some of our own meals!
Beautiful apartment - spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Great location - walking distance to all spots in cromer and easy to get to other Norfolk spots.
Hosts were extremely helpful and we had a wonderful welcome package on arrival which was the cherry on top! Really happy with our experience and would highly recommend to anyone.
It was a beautiful old building overlooking the sea with lovely friendly staff. Rooms were clean and warm and beds were comfy. Easy access to beach and Cromer itself. hotel/restaurant next doors was lovely to eat in.
The breakfast was lovely and nice relaxed service.
Kid and dog friendly.
I had an enjoyable stay in a well appointed hotel, with an excellent view. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was excellent and both the cleaning and service were fully satisfactory. I would recommend the Cliftonville Hotel to anyone visiting Cromer.
Great location - easy walk to everything in Cromer. Plenty of room for us as a family. Lots or extra bits left by the hosts to make the stay better. Cromer is very nice - and good base to get around various areas in Norfolk.
Beautiful home where we were made to feel like most welcome guests. Stayed in room 2 with a view towards Cromer church and a glorious sunrise.
Excellent breakfast.
Free on street parking outside the property.
A very friendly hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms. Very attentive and helpful staff who could not do enough for you. A perfect location, minutes from Cromer sea front. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent staff, so helpful and friendly, lovely food.
Hotel looked really festive, close to Cromer.
We had rooms with a sea view, it had a small lift which was ideal for my disabled husband.
Outstanding host couldn't have been more helpful in beautiful surroundings,, serving exceptional breakfast, looking forward to another opportunity to stay there,.😌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This hotel is part of a chain that specialises in coach parties; so only sell a few rooms outside that business. Breakfast is set at 8am or 9am. Room, location good.
