Holiday Inn Southampton Eastleigh, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Eastleigh

Holiday Inn Southampton Eastleigh is located near the M3 and M27 motorways, 2.5 miles from Southampton airport, 9 minute travel time.

We had a really pleasant stay. No problems parking, easy check in and nice welcome, a quick swim which was great and comfortable beds with crisp linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was very fresh and clean. Breakfast was relaxed and the buffet was really well presented and plentiful - and extremely good value. My daughter (aged 10) ate free. It was perfect for our needs (my daughter had a competition nearby) and I'd definitely return!

Ellington Lodge at The Concorde, hotel in Eastleigh

Ellington Lodge at The Concorde is conveniently located just 2 minutes' drive from Southampton Airport and Southampton Parkway Train Station, in a quiet woodland setting near Lakeside Country Park,...

Set in peaceful surroundings, very welcoming. Rooms all named after jazz musicians. Very comfortable. Lots of drawers and hanging space. Breakfast and dinner were in the Moldy Fig next door. Amazing food, staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Lovely quirky place dedicated to jazz. At dinner we had a French singer, a lovely lady with a beautiful voice, who enhanced our dining experience, making it feel like a special occasion. Breakfast was served until 11 am so we were able to go to parkrun then back in time for a delicious cooked breakfast and a continental buffet. A short walk from the hotel took us to a lake with geese and goslings.

Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel, hotel in Eastleigh

Chilworth Manor is an impressive Edwardian manor house set in 12 acres of beautiful gardens. It has en suite rooms, a pool, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi.

The building itself is imposing, stately and elegant, many guests could be seen outside taking pictures of the hotel soon after arrival. We had a beautiful spacious room looking out over the gardens at the rear of the hotel. Simple but very elegant and very comfortable. The grounds outside were exceptionally photogenic at the time we were there at the beginning of May. The location is within 30mins of Southampton and 30mins from the New Forest so travel to both is very easy.

Lovely place, plenty to see and do.

Lovely place, plenty to see and do. Close to Winchester and Southampton by road and train. Not to crowded good variety of shops and pubs with plenty of places to eat as well. Bournemouth and Poole aren't so far away either. We visited to see a friend, but most things are either in a short car ride or walking distance. We ate in the bar at the hotel, and the Beefeater along the Bournemouth Road which is reasonable. The M3 junction is along Leigh Road at the top end of town, easily accessible. There is a good bus service and roads are easy to traverse. There is a Wetherspoons opposite the station in Eastleigh, but it does get very busy. Plenty of other places to eat, but booking is advisable, the Harvester on top of the Swan centre is lovely, but definitely needs booking.

The staff and facilities were ok but warnings that a lot of children were in the hotel should be given. Definitely a families break hotel not for quick visits. Parking should not be charged. Breakfast should be included in the price.

Sadly greeted by a very uninterested moody looking person to see us in which dampened our excitement immediately . Then to find our room with hairs in the bed and sky tv promised as per website and previous visit to another sister hotel yet no proper sky just a few channels. Apart from that good room and very comfy.

We found Eastleigh a great location as a base for visiting surrounding attractions such as Paultons Park, Marwell Zoo, New Forrest, lovely villages near the Solent etc with the added local amenities of buses, train station, great shopping, bowling alley, country park with steam engine, bingo hall and good restaurants.

Convenient for Southampton Airport. Just about walkable in 25 minutes, though we didn’t. The owner kindly gave us a lift (£15). It is in a 2 bedroom apartment. Has a separate bathroom and living room/kitchen. The apartment was clean and tidy. Our room was quite small. Quiet location not far from Swan Centre in Eastleigh.

Good size for family of four. We had booking done for 2 adults and 2 kids, to single beds were done and 2 sets of towels. It it odd that nothing was prepared for us to sleep sofa bed. Otherwise location is good, close to Eastleigh town centre, coop on door step if you want to cook yourself.

Hotel was good for a nights stay. Staff were lovely. The pub next door was lovely, with delicious dinner and breakfast. We went to see the Artic Monkeys at the Ageas Bowl and the park and ride was just round the corner from the hotel. Perfect location for us.
