With fairly new owners this is still a work in progress, but I hope it will eventually be a success.
Being an old building, and a very interesting one, there are bound to be issues with the exterior, but the 'personal service' more than makes up for any flaws!. A very comfortable, homely stay, and I would definitely book again.

Disappointed how Great yarmouth has changed, unfortunately for the worse , lots of rundown shops and broken glass , It really does need a complete regeneration as it was such a great place to bring our children when they were younger and it was so sad to see how much it had changed . The pleasure Beach isn't bad but again could do with revamping and maybe a new water ride as tickets weren't cheap in comparison to other seaside resorts that have lots more rides , You shouldn't have to pay to get in if you don't want to go on any rides, just supply wristbands to people that want to as there's really not alot to do if you don't . I honestly.dont think I'll be in any hurry to go back which is a shame .

It's quite a pleasant walk along the sea front and around the centre it's self but if you go off the beaten track there is a lot of rubbish on the street.
We went to the Grovner casino on the front one night to eat and that was good food for a good price.
You can just walk around but there is also an open top bus or horse cartages along the sae front.

Great Yarmouth needs investment. Better advertising.
Great Yarmouth needs investment. Better advertising. The place itself is wonderful, the beaches are some of the best in the country, the beachfront is old skool amusements combined with new restaurants and cafes.
Transport is excellent.
The whole place thou was empty. Everything is shut Monday to Friday. When it was open & the sun was shining, it was like Southend on a wet mid week in November. So few people around to enjoy the beautiful beaches & lovely hospitality
Pictures were taken at 11am on a sunny saturday

Great Yarmouth is a location to visit particularly because of the clean beach. It is a quiet town but as a tourist or an adventurer, it is enjoyable.
It is very easy to get around the town, you can walk or take a bus and Taxis are easily accessible.
We had a diner at the China diner place, the town center also has different shops which are also affordable.
Really comfortable, clean hotel. Parking on site but some steps up and down to beach. Very polite and helpful staff. Right on the cliff overlooking the seafront of Gorleston on Sea. The beach is amazing. So clean and tidy and vast! It’s in a small resort based around the beach - lots of families, dog walkers and people just relaxing. Coast guard on duty and a row of shops to cater for snacks, coffee, ice creams and souvenirs. Cafes, small amusement arcade and a very good Chinese nearby.
The rooms were kept clean and tidy every day, beds were made on a daily, rubbish was cleaned out and coffee and tea were filled up.. also the 2 packs of biscuits refilled on a daily.. staff were polite, very friendly and welcoming.. parking isn't an issue a space was always available. The beach and seafront was only a 5 minute walk away.. plenty of good cafes and restaurants in the area... HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to anybody.. and we will definitely be back!!!
The location for me was almost perfect we was right between all 3 piers, only a 20/30 min walk to the town going along the seafront amusements.
The hotel staff are welcoming and friendly always happy to help.
Breakfast is lovely (maybe adding some black pudding to the breakfast) but apart from that I can't complain absolutely lovely stay and will be booking here again soon.
Be warned do not stay at this place.Went for a rest worst 3 nights never got to sleep for all the noise, ewife with Alzheimer's didn't know what was happening drunks in foyer and in next room complete absence and apathy from management Booking .com should not send anyone to this so called hotel. it is a workers doss house
We managed to find the hotel as a last minute booking. Slightly sceptical, as we didnt know the area. Very pleasantly surprised. Lovely clean hotel, very polite and helpful staff. We didnt use the bar or restaurant as we ate elsewhere, and there was no room when we got back due to C19 restrictions.
Great location (5 minute walk from seafront) clean and comfortable. Felt like home from home. Arthur and Debbie were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Delicious cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Great Yarmouth. Couldn't have asked for more.
Staff great and very kind. Location in the centre of the sea front. Food very very good and plenty of it. Stayed at the hotel as a base for the Norfolk Broads as well as Great Yarmouth and was not disappointed, would stay every year. Very very good.
Pretty much everything great location great price 👍 and the fact that a whole apartment was cheaper than any single room in other hotels and bnbs means this is the perfect place to stay in Great Yarmouth 😘 Thanx for having us

Other than room 4. For us other areas were clean and tidy plenty of holiday information, very good breakfast, parking was free with spaces. Hotel is located close to the seafront and the town.
