The staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly. We had chosen a small room but it was perfectly adequate and had been recently decorated. The breakfast was good and we had dinner in the Nepalese restaurant which was excellent. Good value and in a convenient central location in Perth.

The location is excellent with two walking routes taking you into the town centre in 15 minutes. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean but it was smaller than we expected in a Victorian villa. Although on the busy route to Dundee there is no traffic noise because of excellent secondary glazing.

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then.
Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down.
Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.

We were too early in the year for a number of attractions unfortunately. Come after the end of March. However, the Black Watch Museum was excellent especially if in to military history. You can have a guided tour which is very very informative, excellent in fact.
The restaurant, Kisas, was very good.

A small/compact City.
A small/compact City. Historic and the New Museum is fantastic. There are many independent shops as well as the shopping centre. Plenty of good eateries and coffee shops.
well placed for walking or cycling the river has footpaths along it and is well maintained. A lively theatre/live event scene too.
I can't imagine there being a hotel in Scotland with better value for money. Highlights for me were : Polite, friendly, and respectful staff; a large clean and quiet room in excellent decorative condition with a cracking view across the tay; lovely open fire crackling away in a comfortable lounge area; a breakfast to satisfy the best of appetites. And all presented in a lovely well-maintained building with plenty of hints of its history but much modernity too.
This first-time customer Will be back!
We enjoyed our first night at the Grampian Hotel so much, we decided to stay an extra 2 nights. The staff by far made our experience exceptional. Their customer service was above and beyond! The hotel is reasonably priced, and the rooms were very clean with nice, functional layouts. The location is also very good! It's about a 5 minute walk to Perth train station, and right down the street from the downtown shopping area. And even with that great location, we still found it nice and quiet.
Breakfast was an enjoyable experience with a menu to suit every taste.
The historic building (1699) would appeal to anyone with a feeling for Scotland's history, but inside it has been tastefully modernised with due regard for comfort and safety. The hotel has an ethos of recycling and sustainability.
The city centre location is within walking distance of shops, the railway station and other attractions.
This place was so super clean full of character with all modern facilities hard to get in Scotland ! Traveled the world several times and this is a fantastic boutique hotel well worth the money, would definitely recommend and am really fussy so that’s not something I would do lightly. Great place to stay.
Just a lovely traditional hotel, from check in (we were late ) , the room, breakfast, and our host couldn't have been any better. Very tasteful decor and the situation was so handy for heading south in the morning, what a great find at such a reasonable price, will definitely be back. Thank you.
A very well appointed and presented small hotel . Good sized rooms and en-suite facilities. The manager was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. The choice, value and quality of the evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. The overall service was exemplary.
It is a lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable the host was very kind I left something behind and he is posting it back to us which is not something I expected. It was perfect and a great location for the shops and other attractions of Scotland.
Hotel a little bit tired but warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was very traditional - black pudding; baked beans, bacon etc. Coffee was okayish and service was attentive. Toasters are pretty feeble.
The location was ok. Close to centre and station. It was a cheap option for a one night stay in Perth. I think it was a really nice hotel back in the day. The gentleman at reception was welcoming.
The staff & the food was great we have absolutely no negatives about this hotel it was central to perth & is easy to get to without having to go through the town would go again in a heartbeat
Hotel is very clean but very dated needs a lot of work done. Staff were lovely especially the manager.
Perth was like a ghost town everything was shut. Struggled to find a restaurant.
The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms we booked were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent right in the centre and close to all ammenities.
Absolutely beautiful structure and gorgeous rooms in scenic Scottish countryside. Really loved the reading area. You really feel like you are in Scotland!
