Great location in the centre of Cricklade on the High Street. Looks like the rooms have been recently decorated. My room was small but comfortable. The shower was great. Easy reach to restaurants, the Thai behind the Vale is great. Couple of cafes to choose from nearby to have breakfast. Easy system for checking out.
Featuring a terrace, bar and views of river, Wild Thyme & Honey is set in Cirencester, 12 km from Cotswold Water Park.

Great location, less than 5mins to Cirencester and 30mins to the beautiful Stow-on-the-wolds and Bibury for exploring. Great restaurant, outdoor space, parking and modern rooms. Nespresso machine and complimentary water and local gin!
Well stocked complimentary pantry was a nice surprise! Stocked for feminine products, towels, extra coffee pods and teabags and a refrigerator if you need to store items was a lovely consideration.
Outdoor spaces were spacious, with covered benches, fireplace and pods for dining! Super soft friendly too. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable despite being short staffed, we never felt rushed or ignored.
The Crown restaurant menu is fab!!!!

After a somewhlat indifferent first stay, we were invited back as guests of the Hotel.
Room was nice and staff excellent and Joanna made every effort to make us welcome.
The " Piece de resistance" though was the Curry night.
It was without doubt the best curry we''ve ever had!( and I've had a few!).
Thoroughly reccommend it.

The area is a very outdoors type of holiday and great if you love walking. It has been very wet weather so some areas were very muddy, so we didn't get to do some walks and explore the area as much as we would have liked. The roads can be quite busy, but once you get away from the roads it is lovely and scenic. It is not well mapped out and we were unsure where to park up to explore some areas.

South Cerney was ideal place for children and also everywhere catered for dogs.
We were out of main school holidays so it was quieter and not everywhere open.
Our accommodation overlooked Spring Lake which was beautiful. A car is definitely required to travel around.

Really enjoyed the hot tub. A comfortable place to stay.
Really enjoyed the hot tub. A comfortable place to stay.
It was all lovely and clean and there was no evidence of previous dogs. Our elderly spaniel found the steps a bit challenging and slippery. He loved the walk around the lake.
Lots to see and do on the park and in the area. South Cerney is an easy walk with good pubs. Food at the Old George Inn is excellent.

The area of South Cerney being in the middle of Cotswold Water park was full of activities and places to visit. Of course, these activities are mostly water based but if that is your thing then brilliant,
Cirencester which is a charming little town is just a few minutes down the road also.

Clean and tidy resort with lots to do, specially if you have children. The resort however is tired and run down, it’s dog friendly as long as you don’t want to have an evening meal there as the restaurant is not dog friendly and you are limited to the cafe where the food is just awful they described the menu as bar bites, if you like 3 chicken nuggets then great so we had to drive off site to eat at local pubs. The fishing lakes need maintenance lots of weeds over grown, such a shame as it could be amazing. If I was a holiday home owner I’d be getting worried, this place could be amazing but it’s time for some investment!!
Lovely, cosy apartment situated above a shop in the picturesque village of South Cerney.
There are two local pubs nearby. We had an evening meal at The Elliot Pub. The staff were lovely and the food was superb.
It's a short drive to Cirencester, where there are lots of nice coffee shops, restaurants and shops.
The house was lovely and spacious(4 adults stayed here with no problems) and was in a brilliant location. We was a very short walk away from the restaurant and water activities. When I did have any questions about the accommodation responses were fast and resolved very quickly.
Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything had been thought about. Lovely owner greeted us. Comfy sofas and lovely terrace. Cooked easily with excellent kitchen. Shower was better than some in a five star hotel!
Beautiful lodge overlooking spring lake. Well equipped and really spacious; more than enough space for 4 adults and one baby. Beautiful surroundings made for a lovely family holiday. Great communication from hosts
Booked on very short notice due to issue with another booking nearby, owners were very quick to arrange our stay and provide access details which was great. Accommodation is great in lovely surroundings.
We had a great weekend stay at the home. The accommodation the was very clean and spacious and in a great location.
it had lovely views overlooking the lake with a nice decking area to sit and relax.
Accommodation was really modern and comfortable, whilst really spacious for the 3 of us (plus our dog). A great base to explore the Cotswolds water park.
