The location was very close to the harbour and the beach, we really liked this. English breakfast and cereals, toast and jam. Very generous portions. The bed was really comfortable! I normally get pain in my hip on most mattresses, but not on this one. Are small doggy was welcoe. The owners and staff are all very happy and cheerful.

Haddon House Hotel, hotel in West Bay

Haddon House Hotel offers accommodation in Bridport. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The rooms have a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Traditional British breakfast well cooked with many options and choice available. Excellent restaurant for an evening meal should you require it with a wide choice of food available including fresh local sea fish. We used the restaurant twice and had faultless meals fairly priced. Great variety on the specials board as well.

West Bay is a pleasant small seaside resort.

West Bay is a pleasant small seaside resort. We went out of season so it was very quiet and some places were not open. Parking was no problem but might be more of a challenge in the summer season - and more expensive!

Active Harbour, super beaches , good selection of pubs cafes and kiosks. Good sunsets , central for visiting other resorts ,towns . This could be a super town with a little more Greening and Cleaning . Plus more information about Bus Connections

Great little apartment for a last minute weekend break.

Great little apartment for a last minute weekend break. Excellent location with the beach on doorstep and harbour around the corner. Apartment was modern and clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely book again. It was a little tricky finding apartment from the allocated car parking space but luckily we found someone on site to point us in right direction.

West bay is a great example of Dorset's Jurassic coast.

West bay is a great example of Dorset's Jurassic coast. Stunning views, and a great starting point for further exploration. My only reservation being, simply due to the popularity of the area, west bay and other locations can become very busy in summer.

Lovely walks, quaint emporiums and shops, great for local seafood and ice creams. Good pubs with Palmers ales/beers and very fresh air. Boat & bus trips available right from the harbour. I really can’t fault West Bay. And The Bridport Arms Hotel is somewhere I’d definitely return to. To stay, drink & eat in.

Colourful seaside town, plenty of coffee shops & eateries.

Colourful seaside town, plenty of coffee shops & eateries. The perfect amount of tat & shops to browse. A good park for the children, lovely beach & good access to the coastal path. A cracking hidden gem, “100 Nautical” micro bar, knowledgeable staff, a well kept pint of ale & 35 ciders. Perfect little place to enjoy a pint before dinner.
