I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

Bangna area was disappointing. we chose to stay in Bangna to explor a part of BKK ive never been. But there is nothing in Bangna worth seeing. not an area for tourists. though easy access to Suvunnaphum airport. (30Mins taxi )

Not a tourist area. No rail service near the hotel (yet.) Streets are very quiet and clean. Nice Department stores nearby. Otherwise you need a cab to get anywhere. Airport about 1/2 hour. Shangri-La and Chao Praya about 40 minutes on expressway in quiet times. No ugly tourist traps (you should know what I mean.)

The hotel was simple, clean and staff was friendly. You have to pay a deposit of one thousand baht for the night which thw hotel promptly returned to us before departure. There is a huge shopping mall across the road with plently of last minute shopping and food options. The train night market is also close by that is open thu-sun. The hotel has a clean pool which we used at the end of the day.

Obviously its far away from Bangkok centre, which is exactly what we wanted. As we had an early flight the next day. They also provide a free shuttle service to the airport which was perfect for us. The unit is spectacular and there is an on-site gym which worked very well for me, because I like to exercise each morning. It's close to everything that you would want and need in Bangkok, but at the same time quiet as it is not located directly on a major road. Excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it

On the way you will find a lot of street food stands offering a variety of menu. So the localisation is perfect if you for example have a Congress in BITEC. The hotel itself offers a very spacious rooms with air conditioning. The rooms are cleaned daily.

I tried few other hotels but the friendly approach by the host and the systematic facilities has made me think why didn't I try all of my days of visit in the same hotel.
