Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view.
In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand.
The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning.
I highly recommend this place!!

For a small island, the bungalows are surprisingly comfortable and clean and the breakfast is also impressive considering that you are on a small island. The resort is in a prime location on a wonderful beach. The German hotel manager is always available to answer any questions you may have about Koh Mook. The resort is definitely the best choice if you are in Koh Mook.

The bungalows were surrounded by a beautiful garden with so many butterflies. Inside, the room and bathroom felt spacious and were very comfortable. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and funny. Restaurant had great cheap food too. Plus it was a 5 minute walk from the main beach (Charlie beach). Overall it was amazing and I would thoroughly recommend it, and it is a bargain!

Thank you so much YAI. You were the best host! Even I just stayed for a night, he went beyond to help. Thanks for picking and dropping at the pier. Also it was off season time so kind of nothing on the island much to do, but Yai took me to watch the sunset and then to his friends bar. It was lovely and amazing to watch the sunset.
Loved the Tent stay,. I was alone for such a spacious tent, lot of space. Perfect jungle vibes, open nature and surrounded by lots of cashew tree.

Great island with the stunning Charlie beach.
Great island with the stunning Charlie beach. One of the top in Thailand from my 2 month travel around. Definitely underrated. Can be uncomfortable in the evenings when jelly fish appear. But 10 starts for the morning time. Also nice food done by local on theirs small restaurants business on the beach. An relaxing place to be.

We loved how relaxed the island was.
We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline. You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance. The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious. We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Wonderful local Island , perfect to enjoy beach days at Charlie Beach and and being able to visit the amazing emerald cave. You can also make awesome excursions to Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai with crystal blue waters and amazing white sand beaches

Fantastic little island, lovely beaches , tranquil sunsets and a lovely small local village which comes alive in the evenings but dosent get rowdy. Chilled, great food and a great reggae bar. Will definitely be going back

The island is beautiful with nice garden hotels great restaurants Sivalai Resort is there too on a beautiful beach. A must is a visit to Emerald cave and a day trip to Koh Kradan. Loved Sunset or (Charlie Beach) Overall I would strongly recommend Koh Mook island.Zdravko VrbanjacAustralia

The location was great, about 5 min walking from the sunset beach (which in our opinion was more pleasant that the other side of the island). In mookies you can rent a motorbikes, bicycles. The stuff will organize for you kayaks or day trips to other islands or around ko mook. I couldn’t not mention the sweetest owner who takes care literally of every customer staying in mookies. I usually stay at a different resort on Koh Muk but they were closed for renovations. But I was quite happy with how things turned out at Mook Mantra. Great location. SUPER quiet. Fantastic bungalow with a very big comfortable bed. Awesome bathroom with sky light. Plus a fridge to keep my drinks and snacks cold. Awesome! Super close to everything - snack shop, places to eat, beach right off the front of the property etc.

Only cold water available, but not a real problem in Thai weather. It offers fantastic views and excellent tours (I particularly recommend the snorkeling tour in Koh Kradan, which is incredible—just beware of the sea urchins!). The owners are kind and helpful. During my stay at the resort, I had a medical emergency. The owners were fantastic in assisting me; they called the doctor and even helped transfer my luggage to the hospital. I will definitely come back!

Also, I needed to renew my tourist visa at Trang while in Koh Mook, the hotel used a great agency for pick up( tuk tuk, ferry) in Koh Mook and drop off at the immigration at Trang (taxi), and back to the hotel. The service was fantastic.
