The location is very nice, among nature, with a nice pool and littles bungalows all around. The staff is nice, even that they don't speak English at all, it was a bit difficult to communicate then, but that's quite common all around Vietnam!

Nice beaches. Good destination for relax after traveling in Vietnam. More turist than in rest of the country, but not overtourism (we were there in end of April). Good for spend few days but not for authentic Vietnamese experiance.

The island is well connected with regards to transport, all be it needs some improvement on minor roads. A fair amount of things to do from Grand Word in the north and Sunset Town in the south with the cable car.
It can be quite expensive to eat out and visit the attractions.
The people are super friendly and accommodating.

If you like a beach holiday with plenty of sunshine then go for it BUT, beware of the rubbish problem on the beach and in town. Taxi service is good and always use local contacts not via hotel reception. Our hotel had a free shuttle service to and from the airport. There are quite a few trips you can take but we didnt have time in our schedule. We did walk into the town and as usual was amazed at what the Vietnamese can transport on a moped/bike. It is warm with high humidity and we had almost 3 showers a day. Phu Quoc is not as busy or congested compared to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh and was actually a welcome break from the chaotic madness of the above. If you decide to travel to Vietnam and travel around we were glad we done north to south as you end up in relative calm

Brilliant island which offers you a calm and pleasant experience. Enough attractions for kids and couples looking for some private time. Connectivity to the city is very simple via local transport which is free and is available 24/7. Just ask at the reception of the report or hotel and you will find all the details. Food is nice if you are an explorer and local restaurants offer great variety and taste.

If you go by ferry to and from Phu quoc, be prepared for a bumpy ride! On the way back I spent all my time at a toilet in the rear. However, it was my own fault as I should have taken medicine against motion sickness prior to that 1½ hour long journey.
About the Island itself, it is really beautiful, perhaps in parts a bit touristic which didn't disturb us that much since we rented a motorbike on three occasions so we could explore every hidden jem both north and south, like the starfish beach, the zoo with safari, remote fishing villages, the big pagoda in the far south and lots of other places. But of course, the main street in Duang dong can be extremely busy in the evening, as was the entire town on Tet (New years) eve. But there is a really good air conditioned bus service which is for free.
And so lastly a note about the cable car in the far south which we never booked for it being so hugely overpriced, at least if, like us, you're traveling on a low budget.
This hotel is located in a remote part of the island - be prepared for the fact that there is nothing nearby. No supermarket, shops, cafes - nothing! A dirt road leads from the highway to the hotel. You can call a taxi and go to the city, but it's quite far. The beach is wonderful! Long, you can walk on it, clean, only sand. There are several hotels on it, in my opinion this one is the most pleasant and comfortable. There are sun loungers, there is no music and few people on the beach. We really enjoyed!
The best of the best. Everything is well thought. The pick up at the airport, the drink on arrival, the lovely staff, amazing rooms, the desogn is simple and tropical, the ouside bathroom is amazing… I’ve been around the whole island, this is the best beach you can find and it’s private. The restaurant food is also amazing, fresh and the setting is wow, on the beach. The spa is also one of the best I have done, in the nature surrounded by trees. I would go back to Phu Quoc just for that hotel.
the pool is HUGE and very pretty
the pool bar food & drinks are quite good (the pizza actually tastes like pizza with proper cheese!)
they had the best breakfast of all of our hotel stays in Vietnam
the rooms were lovely and the balcony view of the pool was great
the location was good for the night market and exploring the island if you have a scooter
the hotel is modern and shiny and the air conditioning works really well (just not in the hallways etc which was a bit frustrating)
It’s very good value for a hotel with a swimming on the beach. So convenient to have the beach less than 50m from the room.
It’s also in a small alley with many restaurants, bars with live music and massage spas. They also did a great job booking an 4-island tour for us. Great view of the beach (and sunset) from the balcony of our room. The restaurant is serves tasty food on the beach. The breakfast room has nice views.
I really enjoy every moment here in Crowne Plaza. The sunset in Phu Quoc is right in front of the hotel and it's so spectacular! The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Lyn Do. The room is so neat, clean and spacious. I love the architecture and design of the hotel. Both restaurants have very good service, delicious food and reasonable price. I strongly recommend this resort and will surely come back!
My room was nice, good aircond (it was really hot so coming back to a good working AC was really nice), good view and comfy pillows. The hotel itself is really nice. It is close to the night market. Just a few minutes walk. Around it also theres a lot of massage parlours, eateries and best of all its right on the beach. The wind was really strong and was really nice. Breakfast had phó so I was satisfied.
I liked almost everything. The staff at reception (Mrs Phuong), the food at restaurant, the view from my room, the motorbike i rented from hotel, Phu Quoc in general. Altough you can't expect to have a variety of fun as in Thailand or other"developped" touristic places. I enjoyed interacticting with natives of the island. Even very few words of vietnamese helped to communicate and exchanging smiles.
The place has a private beach front. There are guards on duty making sure there's no disturbance. The rooms were spacious and clean, compared to other places we've been in Vietnam. The breakfast has variety. All in all it was a very good stay. Very peaceful.
Around this area there are not a lot of options for good food. We went two times to a Korean BBQ place and one time to a hot pot place.
property is right on the beach and a swimming pool is a big plus everything is fantastic house keeping is very good very near to everything and they rent motorbikes at a good price. it’s a unique hotel everything you want you will get it sorry I forgot names but the guys from reception helped us with booking 3 island trip and motorbikes so thank u very much i will come back again
We stayed from 9 to 19. At first we only booked for 3 nights but we extended as we liked our stay in this hotel.
Hotel is new, clean, decent room size.
Good breakfast with Vietnamese food and some occidental as well.
Pool filled with sea water.
Location just a corner of the beach. Quiet zone of the GrandWorld area
The hotel had a gorgeous beach with lovely straw umbrellas. It was near enough to Duong Dong that the drive wasn’t far, but far enough that it felt quiet and private. The staff went above and beyond. The spa was also great quality. Good variety at breakfast. The gardens were perfectly manicured!
employees dont speak english enough. this is quite disapointing. why company dont ensure to give english classes to staff. cant accept an hotel 5 stars having staff in reception or attending phone call for room service without minimum acceptable english level to communicate with expat customers
The location, the facilities, the staff, the free yoga, free cocktails and the amazing breakfast! We were looking for a place to relax at the end of our trip in Vietnam, before going back to our country. After a long search, we found this perfect place! We highly recommend it to anyone
The hotel was by far a standout, positioned on the beach, our room had an amazing view of the sunset and water. The staff were great, always very attentive especially the pool bar staff Truong, Khi & Tam. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Phu Quoc.
Beautiful hotel with everything you'd expect. Friendly staff. Quiet location. Could walk to beach that was really clean. Access to huge swimming pool with shallow pool that the kids loved. Location on the island was good for exploring.
Pretty good hotel to stay. Our kids were really enjoyed their 2 days in this hotel,So did i.The swimming pool was the cleanest one i've ever used.I would recommend it to anyone who has a plan to spend their time in Phu Quoc island.
Beautiful hotel on the beach. Quiet and clean. Had everything we needed within walking distance. Excellent service..will look to go back again next year.
A great choice for those looking for a place to stay when visiting Phu Quoc - Vietnam. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to come back here again.
