The owners are such warm, nice and friendly people. From the moment we arrived they greeted us warmly, and gave us a free upgrade for a better room without even asking.
The building itself is beautiful, old (in a good way!) and authentic Morrocan, and our (upgraded) room was nice and comfortable. The shower was great, and the beds were comfortable.
There's a really nice terrace on top with different areas you can chill, but sadly there's no real good view which would really upgrade it.
Our breakfast wasn't big, but tasted good and had everything you'd need.
Riad Dar Jabador is located in Salé, a 4-minute drive from Mawazine's Salé Stage. At Riad Dar Jabador guests will find a 24-hour front desk. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas.

Very nice stay at Riad Baadi. Had to leave a little earlier than planned but really enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very courteous and tolerated my terrible French.

This riad is located in the centre of Sale's medina, on the banks of the Bouregreg River.

It was in the Salla town, 5 mint drive to Rabat.
It's cheaper to stay in Sala than Rabat in the same class.
The staff was polite and friendly, especially SARA.
The owner Zahra is nice too.
Close to Bab Shaffàa Gate.
Close to the beach ,5 mint walk .
This hotel is located in the centre of Salé, just across the river from Morocco’s capital, Rabat. It offers 7 uniquely-themed suites and a roof-top terrace.

The common areas are beautiful. Amazing design and breathtaking terrace .
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Bed size was good
Located in the heart of Salé’s medina, just a 15-minute walk from the beach, this riad offers air-conditioned rooms and a rooftop terrace with views of the ocean.
Very close to Rabat, just a short walk. Take the public water taxi over to the main town as it is really cheap and fun. The souk of Sale is also lovely! The sea on the Sale side is easily accessible. Dress modestly to fit in when swimming, this is a locals beach. The tram is also easy to get on and use from the Sale side.

Salé has much more of the old world charm than does Rabat, and after all that is why you visited Morocco in the first place! Naturally the street food and small cafes are great, but if you want fine dining it is within a short walk to the marina area. There you will have access to excellent food and a great selection of the finest locally produced wines. Try "Al Marsa" restaurant. Not only great food and wine but a table practically on the riverbank!

Salé is well worth a visit, especially if you're in Rabat.
Salé is well worth a visit, especially if you're in Rabat. The medina is beautiful with lots of colourful buildings. Lots of history. Everyone we met was kind.
The souk doesn't have much "traditional" Moroccan stuff like old rugs or fancy teapots, but it's a great place for bargains on regular things. No one is pushy or aggressive.
Staying in Salé and getting the tram to Rabat is also cheaper than staying in the capital. Rabat is easily accessible via tram. Salé is well connected to the rest of Morocco by train or bus and Rabat Airport is there.

Salé has a beautiful beach area with great views of Rabat.
Salé has a beautiful beach area with great views of Rabat. Other than that the Médina is pretty confusing and easy to get lost in. It can also feel unsafe at times although we didn’t have any actual issues while there. There aren’t a lot of transportation or food options once you’ve walked away from the tram station.

What made Sale for us was that it wasn't as touristy as some other cities in Morocco; it seemed like a more authentic North African experience than you get in the big tourist locales and you got the chance to enjoy true Moroccan hospitality.

Wonderful views over the harbour and of the Kasbah.
Wonderful views over the harbour and of the Kasbah. Not far from Rabat, but if you don’t like walking perhaps not the place to stay.
Taxis a bit confusing as the Petit Taxis are only allowed to take you around the local area not into Rabat. The owners of the Riad however will give lifts for a reasonable price.
The owners are incredibly kind and considerate and went above and beyond to greet us by name, prepare mint tea and cookies, show us the roof deck, provide a map and suggestions on what to visit in Rabat and Salé and how best to get around, and recommendations for the rest of our time in Morocco as well. The entire Riad was spotless and so beautiful. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and filling. They even personally drove us to the train station in the morning when we had an early connection to make. Location was perfect for us.
The location is perfect ,appartement is huge and there is a space for 3 of us (parents with 1 child 14 years old)
Khadija the host is great always ready to help and she is answering all ur calls
All kitchen equipments r there really nice appartement
There is a lot of restaurant coffee shop around also the palce is closed to a big supermarket u can do all ur groceries from there
Nice view , nice and huge balacony, I love the place I will go back to the same place in mu future travels to rabat
The staff members were very kind and helpful. The décor and architecture was elegant and striking. It feels like you are stepping back in time. The restaurants by the marina did not disappoint with the seafood offerings. A legit French chef runs the kitchen at Marinasla. His fish soup is the best on the Sale side. They also have the best shirimp pil pil. Don't believe the google reviews. They don't have a fancy seating area, but the food is really good.
Marea in Rabat is also worth a visit.
A really beautiful restored riad that's both in the old city of Salé and basically accessible to cars. The neighborhood is not remotely touristy, and is full of very inexpensive cafes and restaurants favored by locals. You're within easy enough walking distance of the main sites in Salé, and not far from Rabat either. Breakfast on the roof was delicious, and the lady who made it for me was kind enough to feed me before breakfast officially started because I was trying to get an early start.
This host wife/husband went above all to make sure l arrived to they accommodation safe. They picked me up from Sale train station and took me to the airport early hrs in the morning. The price was very good.
The accommodation they provide is amazing. Super clean , own shower and hot water. Beautiful 👑 size bed.
If you are soul traveller or couples. This a perfect place to stay.
I booked, it was confirmed, they never responded to my calls or messages. I think the number listed is incorrect possibly. I never made it here and had to book another place at the last minute. Hopefully, this was just a one time hiccup…but they’ve never contacted me at all. I do hope booking.com will refund my money bc I shouldn’t have to pay for a service I didn’t receive.
I have paid , once i arrived from the airport . They refused to open the door saying that they were not expecting me . It was an awful and scary experience as the neighbourhood is not a safe one . I had to leave at night and find another hotel with all my luggage . I have contacted the booking team regarding that issue , and still waiting for a refund .
I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Great location, amazing ocean view, right on the beach!
The house was nicely furnished, spacious and very comfortable with the pool inside the residence.
It was also extremely calm and peaceful, overall a relaxing area.
The kitchen was fully equipped and has all necessary appliances and dishes.
Also, Bouchra was nice and helpful!
We enjoyed three fantastic days in Salé/Rabat, and the Repose proved to be an ideal riad. Jan, our wonderful hostess, was consistently helpful and kind. Her superb map and insightful tips greatly enhanced our exploration of this delightful city. The breakfast was delicious—couldn't have asked for more.
The Riad is just a jewel in the medina of Salé! The people managing the Riad are of such kindness! They made sure our stay was absolutely perfect! They are going the extra mile to provide us with the best experience possible! Thank you! We will definitely come back, we fell in love!
The hotel location is exceptional, the view on the river and Hassan Tower is breathtaking, room was very clean and comfortable, and what really made a difference was the staff : everyone is kind, helpful, respectful special Thanks to Mehdi at the front desk ! will definitely be back
This riad is beautiful. Because it is so small we had the entire place to our selves which was super nice.
The beds were comfortable and our room was nice.
Amina the house keeper was amazing. She is super kind and friendly. She made us fabulous couscous on a Friday.
Located next to the Sale medina. We got there by rental car which we parked on the street. The room was large and clean. Around the riad quite few restaurants exist, fortunately the restaurant in the riad serves good food.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The staff were amazing, from the room service to the Ge eral manager, everyone was so nice and helpful.
Big thanks to Malak on the front desk for being wonderful with our daughter.
Great team, great hotel, nothing was out of place...excellence by example.
Riad Dar Jabador was the perfect place to spend the night visiting Rabat and Salé. The place was clean and beautiful, the room was spectacular and immersive, the manager and the family received us with overwhelming hospitality. It’s a 10.
Friendly & helpful staff. Spoke English.
Hotel has very rich and unique decor. Real gem. Building has outstanding history. Has this “movie” feeling to it. Being in there felt unforgettable. Special thanks to manager Said 🙏
