Was positively surprised, looks like recently renovated, new microwave and kettle, clean area, nice home away from home so to say. Staff were very friendly and helpful, exceeded my expectation when I first booked.

The place was not as represented in the booking.com add.
The place was not as represented in the booking.com add. The buliding was a low concrete block structure separate and some distance from the check in location. Looked like a warehouse. The room was bare bones and the ac didnt work. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and was unusable. We had booked for a week but checked out after one night. Would not book there again.

For the Vegetarian in your life try La Belle Verte or Astoria Bistro. There is quiet a bit of road work going on at present

We went to Gatineau for a walking/hiking trip. It is close to the Gatineau National Park which has a lot of walking trails. It also has other walking trails along the Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers.
Great restaurants in the Old Hull area.
Shopping centres every where.
Lots of highways, hardly any road traffic.

I absolutely did not like the place.
I absolutely did not like the place. Not renovated in decades. Old, smelly and dirty. There was rotten, smelly pork in the fridge that felt warm when opened. We left after we've seen the place and booked another hotel this time. Hotels at least have standards that are verified. It was impossible to sleep there even for a night. I have been at other locations in Gatineau before and is usually convenient and close to all tourist attractions. Do not book this place
Room was very small - we had requested 2 queen beds but they were in fact were smaller, not sure what size but too small. Room was dated and amenities were ultra basic. Car park cost $18 US to use - didn't realize that at time of booking - the pool was clean but basic, same for the gym - both required a maze of doors and stairs to access, felt like you were going on wild goose chase. Breakfast was simple in dark corner of hotel, no windows / natural light.
The room is clean and the pre-packed breakfast was nice. The staff were nice, cooperative and smiling all the time. The gym is available 24 hours. The hotel is just across the street from Les Promenades Gatineau Mall, Hudson Bay and Best Buy. It is also a walking distance (5 min.) from Le Buffet des Continents restaurant which has versatile cuisines and very delicious food with affordable prices.
It was the only property available within 30 minutes of Ottawa during the Tulip Festival weekend when all the power went out in the area, so it provided us a place for our family of 4 (including a 2 and 5 year old) to sleep for the night last minute when our actual hotel would not allow us to check-in.
Thank you so much for welcoming me ! I had a great time in the house and enjoyed the atmosphere. I was able to relax but also to work. I recommend the house to anyone travelling at Gatineau or Ottawa for the comfort, and the perfect location. I should visit you again in the future ! :)
The air-conditioner is automatically adjusted, the place is clean, zero-noise and super fresh. I enjoyed my stay there by shopping near groceries where I found everything I wanted. If I had to pass by Gatineau next time - I would definitely stay there.
I liked the room a lot, clean, large, comfortable, normal. I wish I could have seen the hotel bar but it was closed. I liked the nice reception area and the option of the nice vending areas. I would recommend more signage for doors hallways etc.
The location is close to many restaurants and shopping areas. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room was also very quiet with good soundproofing. (Brick walls) Probably one of the best 2 star hotels we have ever stayed at.
Cute little hotel, Staff we’re attentive. Hotel suite we booked came with a full sized kitchen to accommodate 4 people. Beds were comfortable, and living space was a great space.
Very clean hotel. Breakfast was good. A bit noisy traffic in motel parking lot due to large vehicles but overall a very good stay. Excellent value for your money.
Staff was nice. The room was unexpectedly large for 2 queen beds. We discovered Gatineau, which we probably wouldn't have otherwise, for a visit to Ottawa.
