The beds were super comfy and the hotel was decorated very nicely and smelled good. The staff was helpful and we were able to get a later checkout after our train was delayed. The balcony was nice and large and definitely a plus.

The view is amazing, really breathtaking! Breakfast was excellent, more than enough options provided through the selection's menu and very tasty! My room was not big, but was very comfortable and clean! I used the swimming pool after a long walk into town and it was just so relaxing and calm - totally recommend staying here!

Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

Lake Bled is truly a fairytale destination!
Lake Bled is truly a fairytale destination! We loved going there before the height of the tourist season in early May. Highlights included walking around the beautiful lake on a well maintained path, climbing up to the castle (though you could drive or take a shuttle with ease), and visiting the island by wooden boat. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and serene. Many restaurants right on the water to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Gorgeous lake which could be walked around in about 2 hours. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful people in shops and restaurants.
I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.

Lake bled exceeded our expectations.
Lake bled exceeded our expectations. We flew into Trieste airport and stayed the first night in Ljubljana which was really beautiful and we took the local bus €8 for 4 of us out to lake bled where we stayed for a further 3 nights there was so much to do and see with amazk g scenery and plenty of walking trails. We did the lap of the lake, climbed to the castle, boat trip to the Island, tour out to vintgar gorge (amazing) we also visited Bohinj Lake again €10 for 4 by bus. There are lots of other activities. If there were direct flights to Ljubljana we would all love to go back.
Booking and communicating with House Troha was incredibly easy. Check in was smooth and welcoming. The building itself is located in a village close to Lake Bled (an easy bike, slightly longer walk) that is quiet and beautiful. The facility is new and meticulously clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and generous, clearly made with care and love by the family that runs House Troha. We used the sauna and it was a delight on a snowy January night.
We loved staying in an older hotel with a fascinating history. The location was outstanding and so was the breakfast and dinner. As hotel guests, we were able to use a row boat to travel to the island to see the church. We had an area for swimming and relaxing by the lake which was reserved for guests of the hotel. The staff was so very friendly and helpful. They became like family. We hope we can return to Villa Bled in the future.
Truly exceptional stay at Aparthotel Gaja. Located right in the centre of Bled, 2 minutes walk to the lakeside. Breakfast served every morning was a full table spread of everything you could want. Recommendations from staff for eateries and view points of the lake were all spot on. Comfy beds with plenty of space in the room itself and a great outdoor space with table and chairs.
Location was perfect, top of a hill overlooking Lake Bled. There's a Mercator convenience store at the bottom of the hill which is also a stop for the Tourist train and you can ride the paddle boats over to the island. The owner, Mme Antonia, was wonderful and so attentive and caring. Her late husband built the entire estate. It is a lovely "typical Slovenian Sobe" lodge.
Rooms Ravnik was outstanding. From the moment we checked in, we felt so comfortable. The house is impeccable. Clean, bright, great location. It's away from the hustle of Lake Bled but a 5 minute drive to see the sights. Plus, It's easy to get to Lake Bohinj which is more laid back. The breakfast was the best! Free parking.
We stayed for one night so I didn't spend much time in the hotel. There was a hotel parking witch was the main feature as Bled had a problem with places for parking. The breakfast was good. The location was near the lake. Value for money was OK as we booked this hotel later then previous hotels on our Slovenian tour.
Victoria apartments is the perfect place to come with a family even with small kids as it offers large lawns with grass and kids play area. The location is perfect, with the private parking but also very close to the Bled lake within walkable distance of the major hotels and the restaurants.
We were there with our 1,5 year old child. The location is great- 5 min away from Bled lake, 30 min from Bohinj lake, 1 hour from Ljubljana (by car). There is enough parking space in front of the hotel. The food is great (both, breakfast and dinner) and the stuff is friendly and helpful.
Superb location for Lake Bled. Hotel has a lot of history and so rooms reflect its communist origins but don't let that put you off. The sun loungers by the lake are absolutely superb together with the waiter service while you lounge. Breakfast by the lakeside is amazing as well.
The hotel location is probably the best one on lake Bled. The hotel's historic villa house right on the bank of the lake is impressive on its own and maintains the area's charm. Our room was the largest in the hotel and offered a good view of the lake, the island and the chapel.
Excellent location you can see lake bled when you walk out of the front door and look down the road! Comfortable and spacious inside too.
Parking available and free, if there is no space at Central bled house you are directed to a nearby sister hotel with more parking spaces.
Actually, the Hotel Park was closed for the season and they put me in their sister hotel, the Rikli Balance, and IT WAS WAY BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The staff GREAT. And the view from my room (Suite with a Lake View) was fantastic.
Breakfast was very nice. There were plenty of options. The room was average for the price. The Hotel exteriors and interiors are pretty nice and looks like a 4 star hotel. The location is quite good as it is about 3 Km from the lake bled.
Great location, close to the bus stop and a short walk to the lake. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bled.
Vila Bled is a unique hotel with an interesting history right on the shore of the magical Lake Bled. The location is 5 star. Inside everything is impecable. Hope to come back and stay there again one day.
Lovely hotel only 5 minutes from Lake Bled. Spotlessly clean, good breakfast . Friendly staff especially one on reception, due to illness we had to stay an extra night and he was so helpful.
Excellent location and its famous cream cake is amazing. You can see Hotel Park no matter where you are around the Lake bled. We definitely will come back!
