Our first night (of the 3 nights) we had a large douvet. However, when the room was cleaned on day 2 it appeared to be changed to 2 single duvets which did not have any covers on them.

We took a walking tour in Old Town which was great!
We took a walking tour in Old Town which was great! We learned so much about the history of this beautiful town There are A LOT of stairs in Dubrovnik so be ready! If you enjoy nature, head to Lapad and walk the trail along the coast. It is spectacular and pretty easy in most spots. It is paved. A day trip to Cavtat was also one of our favorite parts of our trip. There’s a beautiful walking path around the town with gorgeous views. Eat lunch or dinner at Konoba Toranj. Without a doubt, it was the best food we ate in Croatia. Uber is a very cheap, efficient and safe way to get around the town

Dubrovnik coast was beautiful, unspoilt and refreshingly less commercial than other European destinations. In early May, there were enough people around to give it a buzz but it was not crowded. Dubrovnik old town was too busy on the day we visited (cruise ship passengers we suspect) and we did not enjoy the visit as much as we’d hoped.

The old town is beautiful and full of history.
There are so many things to visit. It is worth taking the Dubrovnik pass for 7 days (55 euros) as it includes many things like the city walls (and it costs 35 euros with the pass!) and some museums and free public transport.
We also took the opportunity to visit 2 other countries while being there, one day we went (with an organized tour) to Montenegro and another day to Bosnia-Herzegovina. There were both nice to visit.

Dubrovnik is super beautiful, the old town specially.
Dubrovnik is super beautiful, the old town specially.
Must visit the town walls, and highly recommend the dubrovnik pass in order to save few €! I also visited mnt Srd in the evening and can highly recommend to go there to see the sunset, its spectacular! If you are travelling in a group, might be a good idea to go there by taxi, the cable car is quite expensive (27€ round trip).
In general prices are quite high; glass of wine 8€, meat and fish dishes up to 32€.

Too many tourists at the beginning of May, I don’t even want to know what it’s like during high peak! Everything is expensive and the souvenirs are lame and seem the same in every shop. Beaches are not good. The old town is beautiful but doesnt feel very authentic because of too much tourism. The food, ice cream etc was below expectation especially considering the price. The two places I can recommend though are Peppinos gelato garden and Incredible India. My best tip for Dubrovnik would be to go to Kotor (2 hours away) and spend your time there instead, much nicer and cheaper.

I have visited Dubrovnik a number of times.
I have visited Dubrovnik a number of times. The old town is always a must visit. The cable car is always worth a go. There are plenty of excursions and boat trips to suit all taste andfamilies. Buses to all areas, plus local Uber drivers are good and friendly. Lots of restaurants,
I. Would recommend Croatia as a whole., including ,Split and Zagreb. Also consider Krka
waterfalls.
The view was exceptional. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed somewhere with a more beautiful view! The kitchen was so well equipped. The family provides apartments with a clean modern design throughout each room. The family provided parking which is so rare in Dubrovnik. That alone is a luxury service! But besides all this, the owners helped us with our bags, asked what else we might need, gave a good description how to walk to the Old Town. They also helped guide us to the hotel when we were lost and tired. So kind.
This appartment was better than many 5 star hotels. Exceeded all expectations and was outstanding.
It had all the ammenities needed even more. Many freebies and gifts from the host.
The room was very high-end, in an amazing location exactly in the center of old town, with great view to the clock tower, cable car mountain, the wall, and monestry.
Toilet and bath are very premium (villeroy and bosch)
The design of the room was very modern and special, we wanted to stay in the room the whole trip 😁😁.
We really enjoyed staying here. The whole experience was amazing. The room is super clean. Everything is new and high quality. Has everything you need from a nespresso, first aid kit, minifridge, smart tv etc. Offers free parking, you can take the bus to go to old town in about 7-8 mins. It is even better than a 5 star hotel. What makes it even better is the host. He was very helpful when our car broke down at 1 am. We can’t thank him enough. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Great location in old town - a few ‘steps’ away from everything. The room was great for our family - with great views of the old town roofs, the wall and around. Mirela was the perfect host - taking care of us from the moment our taxi reached the old town wall till we took the taxi to leave - helped answer all questions we had from beginning to end at an instant and helped book us for all our meals. Mirela made sure we had the best time in Dubrovnik!
This nice place is just a 15 minute drive from the old town of Dubrovnik. We liked that it was some distance away from the center, because DBV can be very crowded and this place is not. The hotel provides everything one could ever want. Everything is nice and in good condition, the staff are super friendly, breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a very nice private beach and comes with several restaurants nearby and a lot of sport activities.
Fabulous hotels. 4 Royal Hotels in a row & you can use facilities of all, every Hotel looks like new they are so clean & well kept. Wonderful breakfast with great coffee & sea views. Swimming pools great, lovely promenade with restaurants & bars to Ladap village but as with all Dubrovnik everywhere is very expensive. Local bus no. 6 to old town 3 minutes from front of hotel luckily it is the terminus as it gets very crowded even early May.
The location is perfect, inside the walls but no need to walk many stairs to reach the house. So you get the best of both worlds here. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Even if we stayed only 2 nights there, the host kindly left us 2 sets of towels for each which came in handy. The host gave us a warm welcome at our arrival. This place is perfect for a short stay in Dubrovnik if you want to stay inside the Old Town.
Thank you very much for the accommodation! We recommend staying there for the night. 10 is not enough. We want to give you 15 stars! The host is very nice, we got welcome drinks, he is a guide and tells great stories about Dubrovnik, you can talk to him and ask about everything. There is a great terrace and a view of the city on site. 5 minutes to the old Town. There is also a parking lot. We really want to come back.
Host Vlaho was super helpful - met me in central Dubrovnik to give me keys and show me around, and came to the apartment for check out.
Apartment perfectly situated in the old town. So glad we chose this rather than an out of town hotel.
Everything in the apartment was clean and beautifully presented, the beds were super comfy and the two bedrooms both good sizes with option of double or two single beds.
Amorimo was a beautiful, spacious, clean apartment with everything you need. The best part was the terrace with beautiful sunrise and sunset view of Dubrovnik Old Town and Lokrum island. Parking was included and walking distance to Old Town, Banje Beach and the Dubrovnik Cable car. we didn’t need our car for a few days. Our host was wonderful!! when we come back we’ll book here again.
Fantastic hotel and facilities we had zero complaints, the room was really big with a kitchenette, large bathroom and bedroom. The outside areas of the hotel were fantastic again and really clean, the pool area was brilliant and had views over dubrovnik. Not a complaint (as we knew about this prior to booking) but it's a good uphill walk back on a night from the old town.
Amazing view and location in dubrovnik.
Hotel is right on the beach front so only have to walk down some stairs and your at the beach front.
With a restaurant and bar available.
Our stay included breakfast, coffee was very good.
20 minute bus ride to the main city centre, but still a great location with some markets, restaurants, etc.
The staff, room size and proximity to transportation (
bus, ferries) , very good breakfast with
some made to order items. The fact that it is not
near old town to me is plus because old town is
just so crowded and crazy.
And the Dubrovnik brewing company is about
a 200 m walk from the front door!
location, location, location! If it’s your first time visiting Dubrovnik — this is the best place to situate yourself as the studio is located centrally within Old Town. everything is conveniently located within close walking proximity! and the Old Town is very safe even late at night.
I would say the best part about this hostel is the staff, they hang around most of the day and are friendly, even seem like a family together.
Location is perfect if you want to catch a travel bus out of Dubrovnik. Note it is not walking distance to Old Town!
The Byron is a lovely hotel in a great location in the old town of Dubrovnik. The rooms were very spacious and decorated beautifully. The staff was great and extremely helpful. There was no breakfast at the hotel, but we ate at a fantastic restaurant nearby.
Νew and very clean hotel! Its location is excellent—right by the sea, and only about 15 minutes by Uber from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Staying here proved to be better than staying in Dubrovnik Old Town, as it was calm and relaxing with beautiful views.
We really like the unique look of this hotel. Parking under the hotel was very convenient. Very modern and comfortable bedroom and bath. Would recommend and stay at again. Easy to walk downtown old town Dubrovnik from this location.
The best views of Dubrovnik from your room, and still very close to the old town. Private parking. Amazing breakfast outside looking to old Dubrovnik. The staff is great.
Prijeko Palace was an absolute pleasure to stay at. This hotel is unique, charming, and friendly and in a perfect location for exploring Old Town Dubrovnik.
