Wonderful location right across the street from the airport and next to the Metro. Bathroom in the room was an excellent design other than only one sink. Good quality toiletries are provided. Room was quiet and comfortable even though close to airport and trains. We ate at the bar/restaurant on the first floor and our pasta dish was excellent.

With the Acropolis as the jewel in the archaeological crown of Athens, this city is full of history whilst embracing the future. Take a stroll back in time through the neoclassical streets of the Plaka, where you will find tavernas serving tantalising souvlaki and mousaka, street vendors and live entertainment.
A trip to the Parthenon and the Agora top most lists and can also be appreciated from a distance by walking along the Dionysiou Aeropagitou street, which is away from the busy crowds downtown.

Athens contains some of the finest museums in the world such as the National Archaeological, Acropolis and Benaki Museums. From Athens International Airport to the Port of Piraeus, this is a city bustling with the old and new. On Booking.com you can find everything from modern hotels to a room in a classical building.
Athens surpassed all our expectations. It's a wonderfully vibrant, lively city, with fantastic food (once you've tried the traditional delicacies, go to Jackaroo for the best fast food experience ever), and it manages to keep its character despite being full of tourists. Pretty much all the places we wanted to visit were in close proximity of metro stations, which made getting around very easy and convenient. While the ancient ruins are impressive, do spend a day taking a short trip to the nearby islands - there are ferries and one day cruises available. The traffic is awful though, so be very cautious crossing the streets.

for someone new to the city, the distances are quite big between some attractions, the entries are not always shown on google maps, and public restrooms are hard to find, in a city that you can stay out for long hours.
the public transport is not that user friendly as advertised, you can wait around 20-40 minutes between buses, the same distance could be walked in 40 minutes, so i prefered to walk and see the city than wait for 30 minutes the bus, plus the ride time to a location.

Junkies, hookers, drugs, low quality food and stuff.
Junkies, hookers, drugs, low quality food and stuff. Alot of tourist trash for sale. People begging money and gets angry when you say you dont have. Prices are atleast double for tourists, like drinks for 13e and so on. No need to go again to central Athens

Athens is an amazing place.
Athens is an amazing place. Currently it is the best vacation spot and I have been to about 45 countries. Prior to Athens/ Greece, my fav place was a tie between Portugal and Budapest / Hungary. Overall safe to travel. I travelled solo and mostly walked everywhere. Check out for when it is world international museum day ( 18 May ) as I was there then and entry to all places / sites were free. That was awesome. I maximised and visited like 7 sites in 1 day including Acropolis and saved maybe about euros 100 in entrance fees. Pls book a hotel and not air B&b as what I did. Had a friend and ex colleague who booked air b&b and they had their apartments broken into and valuable and money stole.

Athens is a city where you can combine , enjoy the beach and going through the city. The blue of the sea and the white of the city are the colors that remain on your mind. Then you feel the energy of Greek people , that comes to you through food, sweets, songs and simplicity.
This is spirit of Athens, the wise Goddess.

Loved Athens and toured city from one end to another.
Loved Athens and toured city from one end to another. Loved being able to see the sights from hotel and felt very safe even at night.
Negative - area is busy and noisy, just be aware. Graffiti everywhere...
The two bedroom apartment is spacious comparing to the other hotel rooms we stayed in Greece. The unit has 3 AC units, one for each room. It’s great for the hot summer in Athens. Our unit is on the second floor and it’s quiet.
The host is helpful. There is no Uber in Greece. We have 4 people and lots big luggages, which do not fit into most taxi. So, the host arranged taxi for us, between airport/apartment/railway station/cruise ship port. The driver is responsible and the price is reasonable.
Thanks.
Awesome location, facilities in the hotel were also fantastic. great pool, great bar, great wifi and the staff and service were absolutely brilliant, best service and staff we experienced in Greece (we have been travelling in Greece for 6 weeks).
The buffet breakfast is a must include, awesome fresh selection of food and pastries across 4 hours in the morning. Again, service and staff are fantastic. Wifi consistently over 6mbps. Pool fantastic with pool towels, showers, WC and excellent free refreshments.
nice flat in athens, greece. The best host ever! Clean space and easy communication with them - I highly recommend staying here if you're planning a visit to Athens. At first glance it may seem like this apartment is just another boring hotel room but don't worry because your new home has all of amenities necessary for any traveler: comfortable bedding/ pillows ( Sheet panelles police!), free WiFi access along side kitchen amenities such as pots pans cups dishes etc., private bathroom complete wth shower.
What a gem! This family owned boutique hotel was an excellent surprise. The staff and family members were personable and extremely helpful in assisting us with our stay in Athens. The breakfast was a lovely homemade variety of breads and pastries, along with fruit, eggs, meats, cheeses and jams. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the location was unbeatable. We were thrilled to have found the Gaia Hotel. It was a great start for our first trip to Greece.
This hotel is perfectly placed if you want to be close to Syntagma Square, Plaka and the National Gardens. It is a 3 minute walk from the X95 bus stop (the Athens Airport bus - cost 5 euros and 50 cents).
We had a lovely big room that overlooked the road and church at the front of the building.
The breakfast was top class with plenty of choice and all high quality.
A very positive experience.
We were very glad to have booked Greece U Around. It’s a great (modern, aesthetically pleasing) apartment, great location, and exceptional value, and the manager and housekeeper are instantly responsive (not that we really needed anything, as the apartment is so well-appointed) – just a text or call away. Next time I’m in Athens, I’ll consider myself fortunate if Greece U Around is available.
This hotel is incredible. The reception is super competent and extra friendly. They have the best breakfast I ever encountered in the whole of my trip through 4 islands + Athens, in Greece. The view from their rooftop at night is insane. In the same street, you find the most magical pastry shop ever full of Alice in Wonderland themed deco. Just book it!
Good basic hotel from which to explore Athens.
V short walk to Syntagma Square for bus/metro links to airport.
Also an easy walk to ancient sites and museums (Acropolis etc) and to the hive of tourism activity which is the Plaka.
Better breakfast than we expected for the price.
Quite a quiet street; we didn’t notice any traffic noise at night.
This was a great stay for our time in Athens! It was close enough to everything that we had no problem walking everywhere we wanted to go, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The terrace and hot tub view of the Acropolis were simply incredible, and this was truly a highlight of our trip across Greece!
The hotel is new and very clean. The roof terrace was a lovely surprise. The service was excellent - by far the best during our trip to Greece. The rooms are compact but wasn’t an issue for us and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the room (505) was great! We will stay here again if we re-visit Athens
A warm and friendly, English speaking staff, clean, quiet hotel…excellent location (for going into Athens or traveling on to central & northern Greece.) Walking distance to a nice supermarket, 15 min walk to many restaurants. Very nice patio/porch seating for coffee or cocktails, in a garden space.
I booked this hotel very last minute for when I landed in Greece and then again the night before leaving since I was so pleased. Found the paid breakfast quite worthwhile. Also appreciated the excellent food at the restaurant as well as friendly service at the lobby bar. Recommended to all.
Awesome staff , with pasted smile's across their face's each day.
Absolutely recommend Pan hotel Athens, we've been coming for almost 20 yrs , each time we're in Athens Greece.
Thank You for Your service's, Helpful And Unconditional Support.
Love You.
Modern apartment in an excellent location which was in the heart of ancient and contemporary Athens. Love the neighborhood and the shops all around the area.
Definitely I will choose this apartment in our next visit in Greece.
Thank you so much
We stay at this hotel every year when travelling to Greece and we are always greeted like we’ve arrived home! The staff are very friendly and the location is amazing! We love the boutique style of the hotel and rooms! Thank you
Fantastic! It's right in the city center with extremely convenient transportation. The view outside the window is breathtaking, and the service is exceptionally good and considerate. It's the best hotel we've stayed in Greece.
Overall, this was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in Greece. IT was an amazing location, beautiful and so so so comfy. The breakfast was amazing, the ruins, the turtles, THE ROOFTOP POOL/ RESTAURANT. 1000/10!
Very nice, good bistro with excellent food, and the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen or had in Greece - and we’ve been here many times and lived here for years!
