was the second time we stayed at the hotel! We enjoyed the walks around. the fresh air, the view of the snow-capped mountains and the evening hours with a drink and chat in the hotel lobby, on the comfortable sofas, in front of the burning fireplace. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and clean, with the fireplace always ready to light if we wanted, (but the central heating was enough) The breakfast is hearty, Greek (with lot of pies, sweet /salty (the spinach pie and olive bread are delicious!!!) Location is really superb, right (literally!) at the foot of the Meteora rocks, but also the center of the Kalabaka. The balcony has the Meteora view. Breakfast is really rich, providing you the energy and nutrition for a day full of climbing and/or going up and down stairs. Staff is very kind and hospitable. Though the rooms and stairs are not very spacious, they are arranged and decorated with a warm, specific, rustic taste.
