if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to Prionia and hike from there. If you climb from the beginning , there is not much to see. on the way and you will get exhausted after 4 km since the trails are quite stepp with sharp rock.

We probably would have stayed one more night as we didn't even get to the beaches but just had time to hike Mt. Olympus. The owner and the staff were extremely nice. The owner was a mountain guide, and provided us with information about climbing the Olympus. Also, they kept our luggage a day after we checked out, so that we could get it back when we returned from the Olympus. The location is great: just at the start of the trail to Pryonia. We highly recommend it!!!
