Mesaria is a very small 'crossroads' town with the main road being very busy with traffic especially large trucks.
There are some lovely local restaurants which serve good food at reasonable prices and two supermarkets. A good bakery sells miniature ice-creams that are very welcome in the heat and there is a small souvenir shop.

We loved the Galini restaurant and left their business card in the apartment. It is only 5 minutes by car and we went there 4 times, each time great food, huge portions, fast service, soft Greek music and next to a pretty pebble beach. Mostly Greek customers it seems though English menu available. All the seafood dishes are heavenly ! Mixed grill of seafood for two is amazing value. See 2 pictures of Galini.

The town was in a fairly rural area and seemed to be inhabited by locals more than tourists which was exactly what we wanted for our trip. All the shops you could need are within a short walk (although be prepared to walk up and down some steep inclines).
I strongly recommend finding Vothonaki Café/Meze/Bar, very friendly staff with very good English (And very happy to hear you attempting Greek) and can help recommend tours and activities and such. Some of the best food we had all week.

For a first visit to Santorini i feel I should have chosen Fira to be close to everything. The bus to our accomodation drops us about 10 min walk from the house and it is quite a walk.... If you rent a quad that won t be an issue though.

The room is really spacious and has the luxurious feel to it. The bathroom has a lot of space as well to put your towels, clothes and every piece of bathing equipments you usually need to bring. The staff is really helpful and will do extra to make their guests happy. The close proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service will make this a perfect accommodation if you're looking for a place to stay near the airport.

I'm very satisfied with this room.
I'm very satisfied with this room. Everything is very nice and clean. The landlord was very friendly and helped us a lot! Very recommended here! I really like it! I hope we'll come back next time.
We would like to show our appreciation to both host. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable and easy. Thank you so much for letting us staying few hours after we've checked out, and the lift to Fira and airport. We feel so warm by Greek people.
The hotel is 8mins walk to town where you can take bus to Fira, Kamari beach and airport. There are also many supermarkets and cafes you can buy your own food and water.
We really enjoy our everyday there. Thank you, beautiful Santorini.
We were not expecting the size of this room. We even had a little hot tub on our patio. The grounds were so clean and pretty. We just got in late and needed a place close to the airport until we checked into our other hotel. The free breakfast was very good with lots of choices. It was quiet and beds were comfy. Reception lady was very kind even late at night! We had an airport shuttle which was nice! We loved the fruit on the table because we were hungry when we arrived and it was 10pm
Everything was amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful! The manager made an easy and early check in. She helps you to rent vehicles and scooters. She gives you tips on what to see in Santorini. The hotel is steps away from the bus stop(super helpful). There is a supermarket across the street, tavern, parking lot. The hotel has a beautiful terrace, modern furniture, very clean room. You can also order breakfast. Highly recommend!
Centrally located in the middle of the island, so not far from many destinations. beautiful pool area and decently sized rooms for the value with everything you need. I stayed for 1 night as a stopover to get to the port, which was perfectly located not far from this hotel.
Flexible staff that worked well with my flight delay, which was very appreciative!
The staff were so so helpful, we had a really early check out the next morning before breakfast began so they made us up a takeaway breakfast which was so thoughtful.
Hotel is in a good location for the airport and in the centre of a little town with a few restaurants and bars.
Good value for money.
I loved the staff - especially the receptionist Simi who is a wonderful women, bright, open and simply a very good person with passion to make the greatest experience for guests. The other thing is cleanness- everything is super clean and fresh, including the room service. Hotel renewed and calm.
Everything was fantastic about the property. The rooms were super spacious and clean. Peros and Dimitris provided excellent freshly cooked breakfast and coffee everyday and looked after all of our needs. They were also a wealth of information on getting to different parts of Santorini.
Experience of staying at Apeiron Blue Santorini was beyond my expectations. The entire staff has been quite helpful and courteous. Above all they have Customer Relationship Manager available and constantly in touch with guests and always seeking feedback and working our improvements.
The view; the staff especially Kosti (hope thats the correct way to write it) who was extraordinarily attentive; the breakfast; the atmosphere; the helpfulness...to sum up, this hotel pushed our Santorini experience to another level
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Santorini, also allowed us for late check out at 1PM.
The hosts were very friendly and gave a detailed plan on how to spend our days in Santorini with a map. The breakfast was also very delicious. They were very friendly and the place was very clean.
Great location. Easy 15 minute ride in the hotel shuttle to the Capital city. Staff were very friendly and helpful in booking reservations for excursions. We had a great experience at the hotel.
Location was eventually good, but you need a car at. SANTORINI if you have limited time. Else plenty of options for tours etc.
Clean room, good bed, good shower. Fridge present etc.
Location was a bit away from Fira . But we wanted quieter space. The space is fantastic , the real experience of staying in traditional Santorini houses . we enjoyed our stay here
The location is good. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and you can go to Perissa beach from there (no need to go to Fira and change lines).
