Lovely town with lots of flowers and trees, very clean, tidy and safe even in the evening. Not loud even in the evening was very quiet near the beach. Preferred Kisfaludy beach (strand). Less crowded and a bit cheaper, also more facilities and better quality/selection of food. Borcsa restaurant has great food and service.

Nice place, you have a lot of restaurants, hotels on all levels starting from street food up until fine dining and top hotels next to the lake. Also shopping is quite fine and you have a great set of activities as well you can do. Hiking and other activities are also possible. Old dirty room carpet corners not vacuumed Bathroom dark no shampoo No toiletries! Towels were not change /stayed 2 days/! No free drinking water no coffee or tea available to make in the room! Basically I think this hotel is faraway from 4 star hotel, maybe 2 or 3 star Very expensive for the quality! Olga

Great location to also visit other place on the north side...
Great location to also visit other place on the north side of the lake. We visited Veszprem, Tihany, Heviz, and Keszthely. Lots of beaches close by, our kids really liked Csopak strand and Alsóörs. Balatonfured itself is great for the walk along the boardwalk with all the stalls selling stuff and the tour boat rides in the evening.

Unforgettable XIX century atmosphere with good Hungarian fish, pork and cow food. Taste the Bagameri icecream, it is the best icecream next to the Lake. If you want to learn and do sailing on the lake Balatonfüred is the perfect location.GyorgyHungary

The location couldn't have been better - it was so easy to walk down to the lake or get supplies from the local shops. The lady who met us was extremely welcoming and explained everything we needed very well. The view from the house was so lovely and we were really able to relax and enjoy our holiday. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a place to stay in Balatonfüred.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for local attractions and good road links to other areas. It was also only an easy fifteen minute walk down to the lake-side and local shopping / restaurant areas. The Accommodation itself was charming, characterful and well maintained. Thoroughly recommended.

Daniel and his family were very warm and helpful, whether it was giving suggestions to the best local spots or assisting in booking a bike, they got your back. The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the apartment was also well-located in a safe neighbourhood! I look forward to returning to Balatonfüred and staying here again!

Our room overlooked the marina and had a large terrace which unfortunately could not be enjoyed because of the weather. Also be warned that in the low season there are only 2-3 dining choices available in town with last orders at 19:30.
