The bed was comfortable. The showers were great. The service at the front desk was excellent. The hot breakfasts were a treat. The room walls were well insulated; I did not hear the neighbors to the side or above.

For this area it was a pretty good affordable option. The hotel was close to the slopes, Aspen and Vale were just an hour drive. We were able to rent skis i the town for much cheaper than what we would pay in Aspen. The town was nice and cozy - had pretty good shops, amenities and (cheap) restaurants with good food. The location of the town is also very convenient - very easy drive from highway.
The hotel had everything you need for a longer stay. Rooms are comfortable, had kitchen, nice tv with Netflix and Youtube, comfortable bed and a big sofa. It was a good place to relax after hitting the slopes. The hotel lobby is very nice and new (it has a fireplace!). There is a firepit outside. We never got to go to the gym, pool or spa but they looked nice when we were walking by.
The staff was extremely nice and friendly.

Glenwood Springs has multiple different hot springs to choose from, lots of activities to enjoy in and around the area, shopping and some great restaurants. One of my favorite restaurants there is The Italian Underground, but there is almost always a wait. Good things are worth waiting for, right? Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the convergence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers and multiple other great places within 45 minutes, there is no shortage of options for fun to be had. The only bad thing about Glenwood Springs is that for a somewhat small town, traffic can be a bit frustrating at times.

I never heard of Glenwood Springs CO until I was researching stations on the Amtrak California Zephyr route. I found it. I saw mountains and the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers and saw it was a small town walkable all over with many hiking trails from town. I was sold even before I studied Glenwood Canyon. I am enchanted.

I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

Should not be charging for open lot parking.
Should not be charging for open lot parking. Should offer at least a continental breakfast. Way too many additional add-on charges. 15% tax in Glenwood Springs (?). The room charge per night apparently, as I was told, varies according to hotel bookings. We were there off season. Room service, minimal clean towels, emptying trash, only occurs after a 2 night stay Really? The staff was the best. Attentive and friendly.

This lovely historic hotel is conveniently situated just across the pedestrian bridge from downtown Glenwood Springs and the hot springs pool. The large lobby is comfy and the outdoor area is serene. Our king room with parlor, with its sofa and table, was a wonderful place to rest after hiking and exploring the town. They have installed window air conditioners which worked extremely well. We enjoyed looking at all of the historic articles and photographs on the walls of the lobby and floors. The breakfast was excellent!
We chose this based on it being an ascend property but for the money we paid it was disappointing. The hotel is pretty generic and no frill. Breakfast was extremely meh, the front desk seemed disinterested, and the overall experience was unremarkable. We stayed at another property the next day that was much more service oriented. None of the properties in glenwood are amazing short of the hotel Denver or the hotel Colorado so next time I’ll choose one where the price matches the level of service.
Great location within walking distance to the hotspring pool and dinning area in city center. You can see mountains from your room and the courtyard. The buidling style of the hotel is kind of Nordic and Danish, adding quite some artistic touch to what would have been an ordinary motel. We have 5 people and stayed in a suite - a real suite with a separate room.
It was very clean and comfortable. Showers had good water pressure with hot water right away, and nice smelling Paul Mitchell shampoo. Bed and pillows were comfy. The location was great; close to the hot springs and downtown. You have to drive to get places, but we didn't have any problems finding parking. The breakfast and coffee were good.
This hotel has beautiful scenery and comfortable comfortable accommodations. Parking is very easy to get in-and-out of. It is within then 10 minutes from the Hot Springs and the same for the adventure park, if you're walking. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable stay with a very nice hotel.
This was a perfect location. Literally within walking distance of EVERYTHING. My son and I walked to the amusement park and both hot springs without issue. It was cheaper than other hotels and had a fantastic gym along with an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Also the maids cleaned our room daily.
Like everything about the Hotel Denver. The hotel and room were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location couldn't be better - in the heart of the old part of town with lots of great dining, shopping and the hot springs nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Great location between downtown Glenwood Springs and the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Nice views from the front windows, even better ones from the balcony patio. Great place to eat the continental breakfast and watch the sun rise.
We didn’t eat the breakfast we ate out. We didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi we went to the hot springs. The iron mountain 10% off was really great and that the gondola is right next to the hotel Is great.
Lovely aesthetic and appearance from the outside, like a little cottage. The room had a big fridge which is helpful to store food and water whilst on a road trip. A short walk to the hot springs
By far the best hotel room that I have ever stayed in at this price range. The room was perfect and exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
