We visited the fort which was a very informative piece of history. We walked down the oldest street with the beautiful canopy of trees near the Fountain of Youth attraction. The peacocks walking around the grounds were very nice to see. We walked through the Old Jail attraction area and visited a delightful tea shop. Walking through the Old Town there were a lot of choices of restaurants and several had live music. We ate at a wonderful family owned restaurant named "Raintree" that was located a short distance from the old town. The Spanish architecture gives you that colonial feel that takes you back in time. The biggest challenge was finding a parking spot at the fort but patience does prevail.

St.Augustine had a lot of history and charm. A lot of variety of things to see and do. A lot of the activities cost so it can add up quickly so we just picked a couple of attractions and hung out on St. George street.

Many of the sites were in or adjacent to the old city which made it convenient to do several things. We took a ghost tour and learned about the history of the city. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops on St. George while my husband toured the fort. He said it was very interesting. We ate at Mojo’s barbecue which was very good and finished our trip visiting the lighthouse. Loved it! I would like to take another trip to St. Augustine to see more of the city.

    We loved St Augustine!

We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

The hotel was nicely located, 20 min by walk from downtown making the city accessible. Note that walking along Ponce de Leon Boulevard is quite tricky as only one side of the road was equipped with a pedestrian road. However the hotel is near a high traffic road and thus the noise may be elevated. The soap and shampoo samples were very nice and enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was the best part of the stay! Great service and good quality —- one of the best places we ate at St Augustine.

Hotel is in nicely renovated old building, rooms are decorated in morrocan style, everything is clean, breakfast very good. Free parking right behind the house. You open both the hotel and room doors with code, that makes it very easy as you don´t have to care, where you have just put your bloody plastic card :D. Historic downtown is within walking distance, which is great. We stayed here a night, but if we had more time, we´d definitely stay at least one more.

Location is superb, you can walk all throughout the Historic District so no need to use your car once you arrive if you want to stay local. Staff were excellent, friendly, always smiling and very very helpful. Gave us a map of the area, pointing out where the hotel is and where other key points of interest were, also provided a list of recommended places to eat/drink, two if which we tried and both were excellent. Breakfast was good and plenty of it.

All of the rooms have a view of the ocean. Our room was on the third floor, was a family suite, and had an excellent view of the ocean. The Accomdations were nice, a little dated, but nice and the room was clean. This is a no frills hotel, but if you want a nice room with a view, you can’t go wrong. It is away from the noise of downtown St. Augustine, but close to everything. The beach was very nice with very little crowding, very enjoyable.

There was a lot of communication between the hotel and its customers in the form of texts and emails. The check in went smoothly, front desk was helpful and friendly. This is an older motel. The room was clean and well supplied. The breakfast had several choices that were freshly prepared as well as standard fare. The pool was excellent !
