I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the Super8 by Wyndham- Salmon. The facility was freshly painted and updated and very nice. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for work and thus was traveling alone. I felt very safe and comfortable at the Super8 by Wyndham- Salmon. I will definitely stay here again if I pass through Salmon, ID. I also highly recommend this hotel (do not let the name of the hotel dissuade you.)
Once again this place excels in natural beauty. The grandeur as well as simplicity of the surroundings are conveniently captured with a minimum of effort. Truly a special place which many of us long for.

Salmon was just a stop over for us but we found it to be very satisfactory. We had a nice dinner within walking distance and a better than average breakfast on the way out. Everyone was very friendly. We would return for summer fun.

This is a great place to go for river rafting and hiking.
This is a great place to go for river rafting and hiking. Not much is open after 7pm. We enjoyed walking to the local bar next door on the river and listening to live music outside. Very laid back and enjoyable.

Great place, definitely suggest Kookaburra Rafting for white water rafting and fishing! Owners were hands on and staff so professional and in total control of white water techniques to assure our safety and fun! Location for a BBQ steak and potatoes lunch half way through white water trip was such a peaceful area and it was an awesome experience! They even picked us up and returned us to Stagecoach Inn.
Great hosts. Property is run by an extended family and everyone is friendly and super helpful. Room and dining room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are all different from each other so when making a reservation talk to them to get a room that works for you. You'll be about 30 minutes south of Salmon, so bring what you need. Rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. And if you like quiet, this is the place! Would definitely stay again.
Initially we did not know what to expect bc the room is in an old hotel. When we entered we were delighted! The area is open, roomy and super clean. The furnishings are eclectic, the kitchen was nice, and the shower and commode are in entirely different rooms. You could easily sleep six. There are several seating choices. We wished we could have stayed more than one night. The coffee shop is right next door on the corner. It was a very cool experience.

Breakfast was so-so but typical of hotel fare. I understand the limitations, so we just had coffee and had breakfast elsewhere. The staff was wonderful and helpful, the room clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting by the river outside and sipping our coffee. All in all, a great place to stay and we have no qualms of returning.
Had all the comforts of home. Felt very relaxing, welcoming and loved all the special touches. Was exactly like advertised. Will definitely stay there again in the future. The price was very good and it was much better than your average hotel. Was very pleased.
This place is wonderful! It’s tucked up in the hills above Salmon and has the most incredible views. The owner and his family were so kind and welcoming and the room was immaculate and comfortable. Go for the ribeye dinner— also a highlight!
Location, thoughtfulness of so many details, including bug spray, having a patio overlooking the river, pickle ball court, games, puzzles, store right next door, plenty of parking,
Very cute room. The owners are restoring the building and have two rooms available. If you like historical hotels, this one is nice and going to get better with time.
Nice pool to cool off.
Friendly staff.
Rags & hose to clean bugs off your motorcycle.
Right by the river.
Close enough to downtown to walk to dinner & shopping.
Great location just short walk from town center and right next to river. Lobby had Culligan water machine perfect for water bottle fill ups before hikes and rafting.
Breakfast was good-nothing fancy. The location was awesome. It sat right on the beautiful Salmon River with great walking path and running area for our dogs.
