We enjoyed our brief one night stay at J and Ariya Hotel. The room was clean and very spacious with lots of storage. The bed was super comfy. We liked the kitchenette with microwave, fridge and kettle. The shower was warm and shampoo & body shower gel were provided. The receptionist also arranged for us to get an early morning taxi to the airport which was really helpful. The hotel is close to Bangrak pier and walkable to cafes and restaurants.

The staff was very nice and the location great, walking distance to the night Market and restaurants. The beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast was good and for a long time so one could sleep in, if wanted. We rented a scooter with them, which also worked well.

Location, furnishings and overall vibe are wonderful. This resort looks exactly like the photos. The private pools are wonderful and the 3 bedroom villa is absolutely phenomenal.

Bo Phut is an amazing place to stay. The beaches are beautiful and clean. There's a lot of great restaurants and shops to explore. The island is small enough to explore in a day without feeling tired at the end of any tour. I've been to a lot of Thailand areas and this is one of my favourites. Food is cheap and really nice.

There isnt much to do in Bophut.
There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.

Bophut has a good mix.
Bophut has a good mix. Fisherman's village is quaint but has plenty of life, pubs and restaurants, and a good night market. The beach is clean and not overcrowded and there are plenty of trips on offer Over all a good area to base your trip to Koh Samui from

Lovely clean place full of restaurants/bars, markets, but not too lively, perfect for us and families.
From the pier, the taxis are sooooo expensive. Going back from towns to pier, 200 to 300baht cheaper. So barter. To our hotel price on board was 1,000. We refused and offered 600. That was accepted.
In 4 nights, we ate twice at Summer (next to coco tams) amazing, and we cld see the fire show perfectly.
We hired a car for our stay via our hotel, so probably not the cheapest way. But it was convenient for us on a short stay. One day cost the same as two taxi rides, and instead of doing tours, we went to all the places on tours that we fancied.

The condition of the road surface was abysmal.
The condition of the road surface was abysmal. The drainage is also sadly lacking. The pressure put on the vendors when there is significant rain is terrible. There are also some areas that need a good clean up.
Always wear footwear that can get wet if there in the wet season.

Fishermans village was a great place for shopping and dinning, numerous excellent restaurants of which some were right on the beach, daily cultural shows. Great beach, great water activities provided by the hotels such as kyakes, paddle boarding, jet skies, speedboat hire etc.
I LOVED my stay at Eden Bungalows! I was nervous to go to Koh Samui alone as a female solo traveler, but the staff made me feel so comfortable, and the location was perfect. The hotel is on a busy road, but the rooms themselves are tucked back into a quiet area. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure I was cared for. I also loved that I could get dinner at the hotel for a great price when I didn't feel like going out. The massage I got at the hotel was the best I had on the island! I can't recommend Eden Bungalows enough.
I felt so good here. We stayed here for 5 days 4 night. The accommodation met with every of my expectations. The room was cozy. Everything is in it what we need. A little balcony as well where I can smoke. The view was nice to the mountains. My room was on the front side of the hotel.
We get fresh towels if we need. They cleaned our room quite often.
I paid for the breakfast as well. I liked it too.
The beach was amazing.
I loved to be here. If I come back to Samui I will stay here in this hotel.
Thanks for everything.
The location is perfect and close enough and a short walk to Fisherman’s Village and the night market. It is in a quieter area, which I appreciated. The garden out front of the beach added to the beautiful views here. The staff are super friendly and Shy at the front desk was so helpful, friendly and a pleasure to have met. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting a quiet and peaceful place to relax and soak up some sun.
Excellent villa's, very friendly staff, great food and perfect location at the beach. The large familiy villa's really exceeded our expectations, the interior and large outdoor area was great. Next to this, the staff and quality of the food was outstanding. Although the prices of the food might be bit above average, it was great value for money. We would definitely come back when we would vistit Koh Samui again.
Absolutely beautiful villas and gardens. Easily the most lovely place we stayed in Thailand. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We didn't expect to get so much room and facilities, it felt luxurious for the price! Really felt like we were in Thailand unlike some westernised resorts on Koh Samui. Pool was small but nice, and reflected the limited number of guests as we didn't see anyone else.
Our hosts were lovely & welcoming! Gave us lots of recommendations & helped us to organise a taxi. The cats around the property were adorable! 10 minute walk to the night market was perfect for our 1 night stay. Room was beautifully furnished, clean and the AC was the best we have had in Thailand so far! Would definitely come back for a couple of days when visiting Koh Samui again.
everything was perfect! from check in, available scooter rentals from the hotel, beautiful resort, the location right on the end of the fisherman pier is perfect! tons of great restaurants nearby, local food night market and shopping. The room was perfect, huge, well equipped and very comfortable, best bed we had during our whole Thailand stay !
Best hotel ever! Everything was perfect, we’d been travelling around Thailand and this was by far the best hotel we’d stayed in. Great location, just a short walk along the beach to get to the famous Fisherman’s Village night market. Loved the addition of the paddle board and kayak that you could hire for free. Great size rooms and very clean.
You should absolutely book the room with a sea view. It's amazing. And the Bophut Beach is so calm and secluded next to the hotel that it feels like you have a private beach. Though a few steps away is the bustling Fishermen village with a lot of eating options nearby. The owner is very nice and funny person. We felt welcomed by him.
Loved this hostel. Quiet location for the hostel itself which was lovely, but a short walk to the fisherman’s markets and a short taxi ride to the busy hussle street of Koh Samui. Hostel was super chill vibes, room was nice, workers were lovely too. Really loved this hostel wanted to stay longer
It was my second time staying at Enjoy Beach. My brother and I loved the hotel location as well as the hospitality that we have received from the hotel staff, Joe and Erick took care of us and responded to our request really well. We would definitely come back xox
Excellent stay! Room clean and super nice! Have a wonderful night☺️ The location is nearby fisherman village market. Outside beach is good, ,good location and good stay.Definitely recommended! Owner is super nice too! It’s a good choice in Koh Samui.
The grounds of the hotel are majestic and well kept. In addition, the pool and beach areas are perfect for a laid back day at the hotel. We typically don’t do that, but really enjoyed resting just outside our bungalow.
The breakfast was the BEST we had in thailand.
The pools were so nice, we stayed in the deluxe rooms near the beach but the other complex looked a little unwelcoming..
But the place is great
Location was lovely, it wasn’t in the main tourist drag of Koh Samui, just a short 15-20min walk and we were at fisherman’s village, which was great. The pool was superb.
Steep steps to get to beach.
The flip-flops and slippers offered in the room had been used by previous guest. Gross.
The umbrella provided in the room was broken.
