The breakfast here is fantastic, and being right on the beachfront adds to its allure. The front yard is meticulously clean and offers plenty of deck chairs for relaxing with a drink or snack. Accessible natural swimming pools form when the tide is out, just steps away from the hotel. Additionally, the Project Tamar location, dedicated to sea turtle protection and rehabilitation, is only a two-minute walk down the beach. The town center itself is just another five-minute walk away, boasting an array of shops, restaurants, ice cream/acai parlors and bars.

The area surrounding the swimmingpool is well maintained and has cocos palmtrees. You can get food and beverages there. Praia do forte has a nice attraction with projeto Tamar (a project for protection of sea turtles). Good beaches and plenty of restaurants in the center of the town.

The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the shower was very good too.

Great service.
Great service. Climate is perfect, when there is rain, usually a shower and the sun appears again. Beach is so beautiful, although in open sea, it is possible to bath and even dive in the waves. Sand is very soft and there is plenty of area to stretch under an umbrella, have fun or just relax and rest at sea sound.

Beautiful area!
Beautiful area! Our Posada was in a perfect location for walking to the main street of shops and restaurants. There are lots of shops and restaurants to chose from on the main street.
We stayed for 6 nights, but could have stayed longer. We didn't get to see t7/he turtle project or go to the whale institute. We did walk 4 miles in the Klaus Peters Reserve, which was nice. I would suggest bug spray, as we did get bitten by horse fly's.
We had dinner two nights at Ristorante Taverna Paradiso...AMAZING! The food was so good the first night that we brought friends back a second night, it was that good! Every entree was great! The second night we got the Aragosta Grigliata con Erbe e Burro fuso saporito con aglio e verdure Grigliate, R$280 and well worth it! When the dish was brought to the table it was a "show stopper"! Everyone looked to see what was being brought to our table...and it was delicious!!
We also had a whole fish with three sides, coconut water, a bottled water and two big bottles of beer for lunch at a beach restaurant that was also delicious (picture below)! The fish was big enough that it served three and the entire bill, with tip was $40 US dollars!!
Loved Praia do Forte so much that we looked at purchasing land. Can't wait to go back!

Beach isn't the most expansive but walk around a bit and you can find some great pools with tropical fish to soak and cool off. Good variety of shops and restaurants to either enjoy some moqueca indoors/outdoor or bring back some pizza to your room.
And can't forget the turtle sanctuary where you can see massive sea turtles and some sharks - information it's in both English and Portuguese.

Food prices are equivalent to Scandinavian Standards.
Food prices are equivalent to Scandinavian Standards. You pay for a "moqueca - local food" during lunch time (from 100 to 120 Brazilian reais) this is more expensive than prices of food in a restaurant in Sweden. The main point is that the salaries of the staff are very low in comparison to the Scandinavian, thus I do not understand such high prices.
When I travel I stay in a mixture of hostels and hotels and I feel like this place combines the best of both. It has the friendly atmosphere of a hostel but the room was like a hotel room and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were so helpful. They helped my to organize a trip to see whales and organized a transfer for me from Salvador at the last minute. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I visit Pria do Forte in the future.
Nicely placed, rather small hotel, friendly staff and oozing with "summer feeing". Hammock on the balcony, a clean, and not terribly small pool. The area feels very safe. A short stroll to the beach, and equally close to restaurants and the more touristy streets - which are actually easygoing and quite nice, with ice cream stalls, smalls bars and souvenir shops.
Stunning location, beautiful beach, apt had everything we needed. Beautifuly maintained gardens and pool area. Aline the host was extremely welcoming and helpful, although she wasn't there she would assist with everything we needed. She would give us recommendations and tips we couldn't ask for more and had fantastic time in Bahia.
This is a family friendly pousada that is located in the heart of Praia do Forte
My room was clean and spacious
The entire hotel staff was attentive and courteous
The breakfast buffets had plenty of variety
and were of high quality
I highly recommend this pousada when staying in Praia do Forte
The rustic and comfortable architecture of the hotel. It totally fits with the Praia do Forte environment. The staff is very prepared and gentle, it has a good breakfast and a centered location. I do not try another language (English or Spanish) with them, but I think that they are prepared for it.
Great place to spend some time in Bahia. The place is wonderful with birds, iguanas, peacocks and little monkeys, all free in the nature around the houses and laguna. The beach is a paradise with natural pools. My husband, my son of 1 year and 10 month and I loved it! We hope to go back soon!
Extremely nice location to visit Praia do Forte and the structure is very cozy, stylish and clean! the room was little bit small, but with everything we needed…including the AC, a nice balcony and an hammock! super nice! breakfast was also very good and personalized! Everything superb!
Very friendly cat welcoming us 🙂 the contact with the team, whether message or present at arrival, quietness. May fit better into guests wanting to take advantage of the place and it's surrounding instead of Praia do forte
The pool area is awesome, honestly, much nicer than I expected. The room is super comfortable, spacious and stylish. The staff is fantastic and so is the breakfast. you can't go wrong with this hotel!
The resort was exceptional, we had the most magical time as it was Christmas. The hotel facilities were excellent, everywhere was spotlessly clean and plenty of choice always with food and drinks.
Excellent, varied breakfast with some different options each day.
The location is perfect for access to the main centre of Praia do Forte and the beaches.
The pool is fantastic.
The hotel is right on the beach in a quiet gated community. Excellent location with a pristine view of the ocean. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good.
Amazing place!
We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every moment. Excellent location, friendly and attentive staff.
Will definitely return next time we’re in Praia do Forte.
