The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do.

We had the Captain´s room , which was breathtaking - the size of the bedroom itself, the unique view, this was amazing. Berautiful beach and location, friendly staff, the welcome drink was pleasant, restaurant OK. Breakfast was also ok, we have had better in other types of accomodation (about the same size) on SCH during our stay, but it was OK.

Exceptional service! Even though we were leaving early in the morning, breakfast was delivered to us in the evening so we didn't have to travel with empty stomachs. We were at the hotel with our 2-year old and for breakfasts there was a baby chair that was matching the whole wooden style :) Impressive to pay attention to such details!
Breakfast was in a form of buffet - which we experienced only here during our two-week stay at the Seychelles.

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
Doris and Charles are the kind of hosts you would wish to find at the other end of the world. They both went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, picking us up at the jetty and arranging for everything we could wish for - from bikes to tour plans and great food cooked by Doris herself. One of the best fish dishes we had in the Seychelles (where fish is always good). The place is small (just 3 rooms), quiet and conveniently located in a residential neighbourhood of Lapasse. We look forward to returning!
The host greeted us with a fresh juice and patiently gave us lots of information on the property and surroundings. The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood and has a beautiful veranda from which you can enjoy the view of the lovely garden.
Everything was clean and the kitchen is well equipped, there is also a safe in the bedroom to store your belongings.
The last evening her aunt cooked for us a scrumptious creole dinner, definitely the best one we had during our stay in Seychelles!
Definitely the best hotel on La Digue (and maybe even on Seychelles). Very welcoming and friendly staff, attentive service during whole stay. Hotel is small, the staff knows you and treats like family members. Comfortable, contemporary designed room, a la carte breakfast, very good cocktails. We had one dinner in the restaurant and again it was probably the best restaurant meal during our 3 weeks on Seychelles.
La Digue is the best island of Seychelles. Wonderful beaches and nature. You can see big turtles walking around. And Pension Michel is the place I would definitely recommend for a stay. It’s clean, excellent breakfast with fresh local fruits, wonderful garden. Staff is kind and hospitable. The place is within walking distance of the ferry terminal and the best beach on the island.
To be honest we didn’t expect much, we were more excited about the island in general, since everybody said La Digue is the most beautiful island of Seychelles. But what a surprise 🤩 villa is amazing, starting from handmade details to exceptional cleanliness. Such a beautiful garden, with golden fish and cute swimming pool. We were impressed. 10 out of 10.
The best thing about this property is by far the host (Nadine). She is very kind and responsive and will help with all matters when in La Digue (recommendations for best places to visit, best places renting bikes, calling taxis). We even had a medical emergency (allergic reaction) and she acted so promptly to assist.
also has the best Jams in the world.
everything was perfect. The rooms were extremely clean and the location is also nice: close to the centre and quiet at the same time. The garden is really nice and the breakfast was by far the best we had in the Seychelles.
everyone was friendly and willing to help us (especially Jamal, who was always extremely supportive).
Wow! Talma and her family are the best, very warm, kind and helpful people. If you want to experience real life with local people on La Digue you have to stay here. The room was very clean and fresh. Kitchen very well equipped. Everyday cleaning. We rented tandem bike and was very good. Totally recomend it!
We had a wonderful week here. We loved our enormous room, fantastic shower, tasty breakfasts and warm hospitality from the family. On our last night we were invited to a complimentary dinner, the best food we had in our 3 weeks in the Seychelles.
This was our first stop in the Seychelles and would highly recommend. Staff and facilities were very good and a special mention to Jude who was always so lovely to us at breakfast and the evening time! Food was excellent throughout the stay.
Great location, and amazing breakfast! Breakfast consisted of 3 courses, fruit salads, omelette/eggs, and pancakes. Lovely fruit juice on arrival and the staff are very accommodating and welcoming. One of the best stays in the seychelles!
Hosts helped us with bicycle rent and we got the bicycles delivered to our door. Everything worked well and the accommodation was clean and as expected from the images. Great value for money compared to other accommodations in Seychelles.
A very affordable hotel at a very good location with almost everything at a walking distance. It only takes 5 minutes by walk from the jetty to reach here.
The hotel had a very nice breakfast and the staffs were friendly.
Russell’s a great host taking very good care of the property and guests. He helped us to arrange the transfer from the jetty, served tasty breakfasts every morning and gave advices on how better spend time on La Digue.
The view, cleanliness, and friendless of the stuff are all amazing.
The Italian restaurant was the best thing i’ve ever eaten in Seychelles and it was a retreat after poor experience with food in Seychelles.
Best hotel at the La Digue, clean and modern, great nature around villas, very kind staff, everything were fast and sharp, really helpful and great responsibility. 5 star halfboard, romantic rooms.
