What a special place, as a Single Mom with a 4 year old we were so pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. We were given Unit 5 which was very much appreciated being the closest to the kiddies playground. The unit also overlooks the larger (natural) swimming pool and seemed more private. The first day the hot tub took a while to get warm, which we then asked the following day if they could light it earlier and we were in the hot tub by 3, which was perfect while we had a braai on the go and watched the sunset. The area typically is chilly in the early mornings and evenings, but there is an aircon in the unit and plenty blankets.. we also had the fireplace going on night 2. We took little walks in the evening while star gazing. There is a river which is by the Guest House which my son tubed down, although the water level was a bit low and freezing, the sunny weather really helped and he had a ball. The unit is neat and provides everything you need.. the views are incredible and we even got to watch the trains go by in the distant mountain. Awesome facilities and units, will definitely be back.
