The design of this property is really nice. The colors, plants and rooms look really good. The staff was nice as well. At the pool you have a nice view into the green fields of popoyo and can enjoy the sundown light. The joint areas were always clean. The WiFi connection was good.

Overall, it was a miserable stay, and I highly recommend you look for another place with a generator. Do yourself a favor, and don’t fall for the pretty pics; it is a scam. Take whatever seemingly nice response to this review with a grain of salt. They truly do not care about your experience while here and have taken no action to address other negative comments.
- The guards are nice
- The apartment is pretty

I had a fantastic time at hide and seek and prolonged my stay twice. I was hesitant to book at first, as it had only few ratings, but am so glad I did as It had just opened and everything is stunning! The rooms are huge, super clean and the bed is very comfy.
The owners and staff are super nice and helpful. When I wasn’t feeling well, they even made sure I got a lovely veggie soup.

Located only a 10min walk away from the secluded Popoyo surf break, it’s a great place to stay for surfers. The rooms are clean, well presented, have air conditioning and hot water. The pool area is well maintained and a relaxing environment with hammocks surrounded by nice gardens. The restaurant serves good food for a reasonable price. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. You can hire surfboards and the staff assist with organising taxi drivers when required. We would definitely recommend staying at nicawaves.

A super chill little spot. Very quiet, not many people about when we were there, meaning there was a big area for chilling and kitchen was quiet too. Room comfy and good size tho I think if I went back to Popoyo I'd choose somewhere with Aircon !!
Didn't see any boards for hire but given the distance to surf you'd want to rent from Anthony above the break anyway to save carrying boards back.

This hotel is truly excellent. Clean and comfortable rooms, efficient and friendly staff, very close to the beach, pool, good food (breakfast included), reasonable prices. This is definitely the place if you are looking for something a step or several above the average surf hostels.

It was a very nice location and beach was very peaceful...unfortunately my 2nd day as I did Frisbee a fishing boat pulled up and they had recovered a dead swimmer who had gone missing 5 days ago. This was just bad luck but I guess it doesn't really have anything to do with the hotel.

Originally I was only going to go there for 3 days and changed my stay to a week. It's a very peaceful place to be. I don't surf, but I also swam and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets. It is a destination site though, to get in and out you have to schedule special taxi transport (which can be pricey.)

Great surfing spot and a wonderful beach so you can simply enjoy both activities. The area has many options for accommodation and food that fit all pockets. It might be a bit challenging to get to it but once you are there, it is worth it. Be careful, you might never want to leave :) ...
