I was in Douglas for business.

I was in Douglas for business. I spent an afternoon walking the town and was quickly bored. I used the cinema one evening. The girls at reception were charming and the cinema had a nice feel to it.

Douglas is lovely, it is clean and we loved wander8ng around the streets. Good signage to find your way around but also nice.to get lost for a while. We walked around Douglas and used the buses, steam.and electric trains to get around the island. We had fish and chips while walking along the sea front and ate small plates at Frank Matchams. Loed it

We know the Isle of Man very well and although Douglas has suffered through the current financial crisis, it is still a good city to visit. The museum is free and very informative. The tour of the government building likewise. It is easy to get around the city and buses to other parts of the island are plentiful. There is a range of restaurants to suit every pocket and we also cane home with Isle of Man kippers. People are friendly, including the lovely staff at the Hydro. I would always encourage visitors to make Douglas a base and travel all over the Island. Peel, Ramsey and Castletown all are worth a visit and offer differing aspects of the Island.

Douglas is a seaside town with most places in close proximity to each other; the ferry terminal and Tourists Information Centre, the shops, cafés, pubs, banks, museum, and the two seafront theatres. The Villa Marina is a large theatre and cinema. The Gaiety Theatre is a smaller and most charming old theatre. Further down the Seafront is The Palace Cinema. I enjoyed a good film there. Comfortable seats. There a nice chippies around the town. The bus route Douglas to Ramsey along the coast road has stunning views. The other main towns are quick and easy to get to on bus, and the airport too. That's just half hour away.

Douglas is lovely, lots or restaurants, bars and shops it is clean and feels safe. The seafront is great lovely view of the harbour and is well maintained. There is a theatre which looked fabulous but we didn't have time to stay for a show.

Cozy rooms in a family-run hotel close to Douglas seaside and promenade. Our room was spotlessly clean on our arrival and cleaned daily to the highest standard. The host and all the staff are just lovely and very hospitable, we felt very welcome and well cared for during our whole stay. Traditional breakfast is rich, delicious and prepared from quality ingredients. You can opt for Manx kippers if you want to try something truly local - I loved the option. Altogether a great, enjoyable stay with absolutely nothing to complain about.

This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in, all the staff were fantastic, especially the Reception as they were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony which overlooked the atrium. The bathroom was also very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty to choose from and always constantly topped up if any item ran low. This is one hotel we'd happily come back to time and time again.

The is a great location along the promenade with easy walking access to the beach and a longer walk to the shopping and restaurant area. The hotel's restaurant was good with a nice buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The offer a High Tea but you have to reserve 24 hours in advance. The staff was very helpful. We took the local bus from the airport to the hotel, it stops right out front; and a taxi back - very easy. Make sure you say "Hi" to the fairies when you cross the fairy bridge. :-)

This place is our 'go to' when we visit Douglas. It is very clean, quiet, has comfortable beds and bathrooms with everything we require. Staff are friendly and polite, the light breakfast is just to our liking and the breakfast room is light and airy with a great sea view. Check in and check out is easy. There is ample parking on both sides of the promenade in front of the Hotel. We are already arranging our next visit for a date in the new year.

The apartments themselves were super spacious and well furnished. Each flat had its own heating you could control which was lovely, and there were tons of nice little additions such as a carton of fresh milk for tea and a fully kitted out kitchen. The views of the Quay and Douglas Head are amazing, and our son just loved window gazing. The receptionist was also lovely, providing extra tea and assistance when requested.

We went with my inlays as its been 53 years since they have been back to the Isle of man. The hotel treated us really well. Nothing was a bother to them. All staff always say hello. Breakfast was lovely we never had lunch or dinner. Little extras ordered drinks at night and got a bowl of crisps. Little touch goes song way. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again.

Very friendly and helpful staff from reception and all other departments. Scenic and quiet location. The veiws from the breakfast/coffee lounge were stuning. The breakfast buffet was mainly very good with a good selection of hot and cold food. A nice fresh new feel to the hotel. Possibly the nicest on the Island. Lovely golf course which would have played if had time.

Great Hotel, great food and great staff always keen to help all the way from house keeping to the restaurant staff. I played golf at Mount Murray which is attached to the hotel and I enjoyed the Hotel Spa afterwards which I recommend. This must be the best Hotel on the Isle of Man as they smashed it in every department. Looking forward to booking again .

Excellent stay at Sea Breeze and Delia was very hospitable and welcoming and gave some great advice about visiting the Isle of Man. The room was clean and comfortable. The guest house is located in a convenient place near Douglas Promenade and its just a few mins walk to the beach. The town centre is 7 or 8 mins walk away.
