There is plenty to see in Milan, on foot for a couple of days unless you are really into art when there is plenty more. The city is easy to get around. After that you can easily use trains to go out to the lakes which are about 1 hour away. There are some great areas to eat, especially down by the canal.

I enjoyed the people, good food and friendly atmosphere of the city. For the basic food, ie, pasta and pizza, the prices were not shocking and one can take a family out for dinner without it breaking the bank.
I felt safe and apart from the pick pockets, which are around, I wasn’t worried about walking around alone.

I think i was expecting Milan to be a lot more beautiful than it was, which is probably ignorance on my behalf as I wasn't expecting it to be so industrial and concrete. The cathedral was the beautiful and I visited some nice restuarants and a spa. Unfortunately i had terrible weather when I was in Milan which really effected my experience.

Milan is a beautiful city that offers a lot in a short amount of time. Since it is popular it is imperative to do some pre-visit preparation.
Reservations for the Last Super and The Duomo with Rooftop need to be made well ahead of time if there is interest to visit these. Other wise you will not be able to see them and they are a must. The Sforza Castle is beautiful and rich with history of Milan, I did not go into the museums.
It is a very walkable city, take advantage of that but also be aware of the high amount of pick pocketers , specially around the Duomo area.
The metro is a great convenience and easy to navigate when traveling around the city.
Always be mindful of your surroundings and keep your wallets and phones safely guarded.
Lovely hotel situated just outside Milan centre, which made it ideal to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre… Tram stop right outside and metro stop 5 min walk away which made it so easy to get to and from, wherever you are in the city once you figure out how to work them. Rooms lovely and spacious, very clean. Staff lovely and friendly, very helpful. And they have a lovely spa on the rooftop that needs booking but ideal for some downtime! All in all a lovely hotel which I’m glad I found!!!
The hotel room was really clean also the Bathtub and the toalet.
The girl at the reception was really friendly and helpful with anything we asked.
The location of the hotel was actually the best because only 3 metro stops were the Milano Duomo and the city centre from the hotel by the metro 3, the metro 3 literally was next to the hotel entrance.. The hotel is located also next to the main train station which has actually also the bus stop for the shuttle bus to the Malpensa and the Bergamo airport.
Hotel is near Milan Central Station, city centre with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, bakery shops and so on and also transport and Lima Metro Station.Room not too big with 2 single beds but for one night it was perfect.Shower was good with lovely hot water. It was included breakfast, very nice and good coffee and you could eat how much you wanted.Owner very kind help us with luggages because it has no lift.Good price for the room included breakfast, especially in Milan.
A perfect start to our stay in Italy: all the charm of an old-world hotel with modern luxury due to a recent renovation. Lots of warm marble in the bathroom!Marco was able to offer us every kind of assistance. We slept well in our very sound-proofed room, despite its central location and proximity to wonderful window shopping and great cappuccino like that we had Chic & Go nearby (their pastries a must!).
The place is excellent! I wish I has stayed here on my fist passing through Milan. The location is centric, 20 minutes to the central station by walk, with many options for eating and shopping nearby. Being that centric is very quiet, giving me a great night's rest for my last night in Italy.
Breakfast looked great, but since we had to leave so early they prepared us some sandwiched for the road. So kind!
Extremely clean and well maintained hotel
Nice and perfect location near the city centre and Milano Linate Airport with excellent public transport.
Amazing staff May God bless! Especially "Nabil" and "Cristian",
Excellent customer service:
Their target is clear...! (customer satisfaction first)...!
They'll do all what they can for your comfort.
Excellent communicaton and Prompt response
The staff at this hotel were amazing! from the doorman, to the floor staff, the concierge, spa, the barman - they made our visit to the hotel as relaxing and enjoyable as we could of imagined for our first stop in Italy. thank-you so much for all your work there!! the hotel itself is beautiful and in the centre of Milan. - great and easy location for just about everything!
We were there for only one night prior to our leaving Italy. The hotel was conveniently located to the train station and a short taxi ride to the Linate Airport. It was a nice hotel, the front desk person was especially helpful, and a plentiful breakfast was available in the morning. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the hotel.
Small Hotel close to the city centre. Just 400 Mts from Piazza del Duomo. Rooms were fine for two persons, in a modern, clean style. Staff was really nice and chose for us a beautiful room with a nice view of the inner courtyard.
It was really confortable for a quick visit to Milan downtown, do some shopping and visit Breda Gallery.
My husband and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the manager at your Milan hotel was to us. It was our first time in Italy and we had problems with our cell phones. At the end of her shift she called a cab and took us to a store. She spoke to the associate in Italian and was able to solve our problem. Corina was our angel.
Localization of the hotel is great, just several minutes from Milano Centrale. Reception desk staff was very helpful. Room was clean and well kept (excluding the AC). Next to the place there are plenty of exciting restaurants and bars. Public transport to city centre is also very near (Loreto station with two metro lines)
It has been the best hotel since i came to Italy. The location of hotel is perfect ,so close to both subway and historical places like Duomo.Hotel room was very clean and big.Bed is comfortable, breakfast is very good. You should really stay in this place if you are in Milan ☺️ Thank you
We were in Italy during the heatwave (38 degrees) and the aircon in the room was heavely! First good sleep of our stay. The hotel also has a cool rooftop bar, with an excellent view you can enjoy. The positioning is also a quick walk to Central Station.
Locations is good, close to the main train station, but the area is ok.
Staff is very welcoming.
Room is great and super comby, has everything I needed.
Design is cosy
Brakfast is great.
From now on I would stay only in Anderson hotels in Italy.
- The location was nice for people who wanted to use Milan as a hub for travel around the northern part of Italy. It is a walking distance from Milan central station.
- The host was nice and helpful.
- The building felt safe.
- It could host 6 people.
Staff was exceptional. Let us store luggage before and after checkin/out. Rooms were clean although warm (however, this is the case in much of Italy). Breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. Ambience, staff, food, etc.- all wonderful.
A superb boutique hotel in an amazing location in Milan city centre, close and accessible to everything. Staff very friendly, helpful. The hotel amenity unique in style . The happy hour delicious treats provided were great .
