the resort is great, although being slightly out of season the other restaurants were not open - save for a function for a car company doing a launch. The beach club was great - recommend a lunch there.

Lovely relaxed beach vibe - a little hip but still seems low...
Lovely relaxed beach vibe - a little hip but still seems low key. It was not high season when I stayed, and am sure its very different over high summer. Comporta itself is a tiny village, surrounded by stunning beaches which are a short drive away. Would love to come back when its a bit busier, or at the same time of year but with friends to enjoy it with.
I went for a dip at Comporta beach (a 5 minute drive away), where there is a couple of beach front restaurants (not cheap!) and a cafe shack for coffee, drinks, beers and ice cream. (the ice cream I bought was more than double in price what it normally is even at other beach cafes!)
I also drove down to Pego beach to watch the sunset. The beach bar was open, but very empty and closed while I was there. I went for dinner at Restaurant Sal, right on the dunes, and it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the sun set over the ocean. Delicious meal and lovely service.
The house itself is very well set up, the furniture is very cozy with a beach vibe. The place was spotless. The house is properly equipped to suit all your needs. The location of the house is very good since it's a short driving distance (5 mins) from the town of Comporta and Carvalhal. It is also located in a quiet area. Margarida the host, was very helpful with tips and suggestions and always answered right away when we had questions. She was also very accommodating with all our requests. I will highly recommend this place to any friend
Beautiful property, located centrally in Comporta. Perfect for exploring local beaches and a great location for local restaurants.
The staff were fantastic and really do go above and beyond to help and make sure your stay is comfortable.
The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable.
The pool area was really nice and the service great.
Roof top bar a delight and the perfect place for some pre dinner drinks - the bar staff are brilliant.
Delicious breakfast.
Extremely relaxing break.
Spatia offers luxury in a most relaxed environment in Alentejo, near Comporta. Just arriving there makes you feel calm as the surroundings are forests. The rooms are designed to keep you in the same mood with plenty of wood and beautiful details that combine luxury and simplicity. Restaurant is great with fantastic food and wine - breakfast is top! The staff is super, super friendly. You can count on them for tips in the area. Finally, Bragança the house cat, is the coolest cat!
adorable boutique hotel ran by Charly and Lou. The facilities are comfy, stylish and maintain the Alentejo charm with sophistication. The beds were extremely comfy. I loved the shower and pool outside. While I didn't use the pool, I did use the space outside to exercise before hitting the beach. It was a perfect place to stay alone and for a group. I was traveling alone and it was a perfect stay for a few days.
The facility was under construction for an expansion project so we didn't get to take in the final outcome (Nov '21) but they best part of our experience was the staff. Particularly Rodrigo and Joana were exceptional and ensured were were happy during our stay. The rooms were also beautiful and we all appointed.
Be prepared that they hotel location is approx 10 min drive from the town of Comporta.
Beautiful Monte de Lua was an otherworldly and serene place to stay in Comporta, set within a magical cork forest close to the beach. Thank you Luisa for going out of your way to ensure we had a rejuvenating and peaceful visit. We didn't want to leave!
The home was so lovely and charming and beautifully decorated, great location a 5-10 minute drive to beaches & towns. The pool was fantastic for super hot august afternoons. Hosts were super helpful and responsive. Overall a magical time in Comporta!
Very cute apartment with private access and outdoor space. The location in the center of Comporta Village can’t be better, worth the higher price if you would like to walk to dinner and drinks without worry about driving.
Helena and Rita were most helpful. My one person room was like a beach house, and super comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Usually I stay in 5* hotels, but can warmly recommend this type of accommodation as well.
The rooms were designed so modern and calm. The vibe of the hotel was excellent and calm, the ambiance of the fire pit was great. The staff could not have been friendlier and helpful. The food was delicious
The house is fully equipped, extremely comfortable and spacious. Picking up and dropping the key was very easy. The house is 5min away by car to the center of the village (Comporta) and to the beach.
I am already looking forward to returning to Quinta Da Comporta. It was the most perfect place to spend time relaxing with family. I loved our room, the pool area, the breakfast was top notch.
Design, architecture, blend with natural nature, close enough by car to Comporta beaches and restaurants. The overall vibe of the place. Peace and tranquility. Nice spa. Friendly staff.
Beautiful house in the core of Comporta town. We had a great time. As it was new when we book it, some things were still missing, but the host did his best. I will come back here.
