We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day.
Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels.
All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future

the town is compact and the centre has all the shops you might need and plenty of places to eat
there is a lot of history to the place and if youve never been there is plenty to take in
road access is good from the m90 and parking is easy
its also just a short train journey to either Glasgow or Edinburgh

I am from Dunfermline although haven't lived there for a while. I love the City very much and know my way around however for Tourists I also think it is a good place to stay, steeped in local history with good commuting by rail and road to nearby towns, the Forth and Queensferry Bridges and many attractions for adults and children alike.
Dunfermline centre itself is not as nice as it used to be however I think this is the case all over Britain. Pittencrieff Park or The Glen as it is known is still magnificent in its beauty and places to explore. A must for visitors to Dunfermline. Nightlife is quite good with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from to suit everyone along with the great old fashioned fish and chip shops. Hope this is of help to anyone thinking about visiting!

Great apartment and the host was very helpful and told us where a lot of attractions were. The unit was super clean, but I was taken back when she asked for a cash deposit to cover any damages. I understand whey but was still confronted by it.
Comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff - just felt like you already knew them & they’re helping a friend.
I like this type of hotel because they are very practical & functional. Good location for what I needed. I’m not sure about the value for money but everything seems so expensive these days. Cheaper than Edinburgh thank goodness - we choose to stay in Dunfermline now when visiting Edinburgh. Good parking & free.
I came to Dunfermline for work and needed to stay overnight, so just found something within walking distance to town. Found this hotel with good ratings and price is good, so made my booking. Unexpectedly found this treasure! Friendly staff, nice food, clean room and all made my trip much less stressful. Would come back again if I visit this place next time!
Lovely welcoming gentleman who owns the place and does everything on his own. Rooms were great, clean, modern and everything you could ask for. Great location - just outside Dunfermline City Centre so nice and quiet but still only 10 minutes in a taxi to the hustle and bustle. The hotel also has a bar inside which is ideal for drinks before you go out.
This beautiful old hotel has recently been remodeled and is in perfect shape. This is a peaceful area full of history and culture. This hotel has quiet and clean rooms at a very good price. The food was delicious and we loved the hotel restaurant. All of the staff were happy and helpful. We will stay here again for sure!
Property is perfect for an overnight or weekend stay. Really well kitted out and a lovely decked area to enjoy the sun. Everything you need for a weekend is there and the location is perfect for a wander into Dunfermline town centre. Contact with J and A is spot on and they could not be any more helpful. 100% recommended.
Room was large, airy and clean. Hotel messaged ahead of check in offering to accommodate later check ins if necessary. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were a nice touch. Staff in the morning were lovely and upbeat. Great setting - beautiful area to visit! Can’t wait to come back!
The hotel was in a great location, a short walk to the train station for Edinburgh and a further few minutes in Dunfirmline town centre, although quite hilly. The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast the following morning.
We liked that the hotel was just outside the town centre, as we wanted a nice place to just chill out and relax, where the hotel is located there is still plenty of things to do around the hotel there were lots of places to eat.
Staff were helpful warm and friendly. I liked the fact that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel. I also liked the little town it was in. Things were clean enough, linens were fresh and more available on request.
Staff were always pleasant, dinner was good and breakfast was great, price good. Location good although not easy to find - my stat nav placed me on the opposite side of the street, hotel is accessed down a dead end road.
Quiet residential street, plenty parking, close to town centre, restaurants, supermarket, very well equipped, great use of space, comfortable and quiet.
Ideal base to visit Dunfermline and the beautiful Kingdom of Fife.
Great location- quiet, but close to town centre and train station. Free on street car parking was plentiful. Would recommend for anyone who needed a base to stay in Dunfermline
Everything was perfect especially the hosts were so kind and welcoming, the hotel is clean and cozy ....
would definitely go again whenever I'm in Dunfermline
