Very quiet place with llamas in the backyard, within walking distance to the town. If you have a room on upper floor, you will be rewarded with the view of the colored mountain from your balcony. If not, you can still see it from the garden or breakfast room.
Integrated in its mountain surroundings and designed in 7 colours, this modern boutique hotel offers spacious rooms and an outdoor pool. It is located 4 blocks from Purmamarca´s main square.

Cactus hostel is nice and atmospheric, decorated in a local style. There is a nice patio with cactuses, of course. The room is clean and very nice, however, a bit too small for four people.
They serve breakfast here which is too sweet for me. The staff is nice and helpful and the location good.

Julia is an absolute gem. We arrived with no concrete plans for a full day and before we knew it, Julia had provided us with a huge list of amazing things to do and see! The room was lovely and you can really feel how much work and attention to detail has been put into the place by Jorge and Julia.

The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers is Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport in Jujuy, Argentina. It's approximately 96 kilometres from Purmamarca, offering the shortest and most direct route.
Purmamarca, Argentina, lacks public transport. However, the village is small enough to explore on foot. For longer distances, hiring a bicycle or car is recommended. Car hire services are available in nearby Jujuy. Always remember to drive on the right side of the road in Argentina.
The best area to stay in Purmamarca, Argentina, is the town centre. It's popular due to its proximity to the main square, local markets, and the iconic Cerro de los Siete Colores. It offers a variety of accommodation options suitable for all budgets.

It would be best if you stayed at least one night here.
It would be best if you stayed at least one night here. Most of the time, you may make a quick stop here as part of a tour, but more than the 2 hours they give you is needed to enjoy the Colorado Hike. I recommend staying one night to hang out in the main square with a Mate, Coffee or beer, and enjoy some live entertainment at a local restaurant. There is something about this little town that brought a lot of peace. Check it out.

Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people.
Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people. Amazing nature views. The trip between Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes is breathtaking. 4500 meters altitude along the Andes, views changing every minute. I would recommend taking enough time for this trip both ways, since it is almost necesary to stop every minute for sightseeing. The trip is a destination in itself!!!
La Morada is the perfect hideaway for a trip to Jujuy, a green oasis just before you reach the red hills of Purmamarca. It was such a peaceful base to explore the surrounding areas. The staff were ever so friendly and it was a wonderful treat to have breakfast and homemade bread and scones ready for our arrival. Sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and sunrise was an unforgettable experience that really made our trip.
The building was nicely built and had a feel of the local culture. Rooms were comfortable. Katty and her son were excellent hosts, they both went out of their way for us. Breakfasts were homemade and wonderful (especially the juices!). It was a quick drive to Purmamarca so very conveniently located. Beautiful property and wonderful hosts, we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend!
Greeted by the delicious smell of cookies baking. Very comfortable, clean hosteria perfectly located in Purmamarca. Spacious, clean room, comfy bed and doors to vineclad patio with views to the mountains. Private parking and nice, simple breakfast.
Recommend having dinner at El Manantial del Silencio, 50 metres up the road.
Beautiful furnishings and stunning view . Large open bedroom with windows and glass sliding doors leading onto a lovely patio.
Very close to Purmamarca where we could not get reservations and so glad we landed up here. They have a restaurant but we didnt get a chance to try it but we could see it was popular and busy.
A lovely surprise in this slightly over-rated town (too much tourist focus), this little hotel (6 rooms, mine a tiny but comfy single) was very comfortable with a lovely breakfast. The common bathroom was a little far from my room at 0400 but otherwise I loved this good value choice.
The perfect Hostal to enjoy Purmamarca. We reserved the room with a shared bathroom and could not be more happy. Super comfy beds, great breakfast, excellent cleanliness and the best host ever in Sandra. The patio with a view on the village is a gem!
Lautaro is an exceptional guest, and his very central place is nice, new, and has all you need, including a beautiful view over the 7 colours mountain.
The mattress was the best we slept in in the past weeks... so soothing!
Absolutely recommended!
A cosy and clean double room with a bit more character than the usual, comfortable with good hot water and workable WiFi. The free tea and coffee in the hotel reception area is a nice touch, and the receptionist is friendly. Location is good.
It seemed to be a small family owned property within easy access of Purmamarca. Very large, airy space, more like a vacation rental than a hotel. The beds were comfortable and it had a sitting area and kitchen. Everything was very clean.
A beautiful property, a former convent. Room and was very comfortable , overlooking the garden. Wonderful restaurant with great food and service. Beautiful art throughout the wholle hotel.
Very clean, new, spacious , comfortable and full of amenities ( including washer, dryer, parilla). The view of the mountains is amazing!! One of our best stay so far in all of Argentina!
This hotel was exceptional. The units are spacious and comfortable, the views are amazing, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good as well.
The hotel was beautifully located and decorated, but the main positive was the service, the lady who was serving us was so nice. She really took care of us!!!
