the hotel is very nicely positioned and has comfortable rooms that are above average, what is very bad is that the level of privacy is at a very low level for such a hotel.

The only capital city in the world with a ski world cup race, Zagreb sits over 120 metres above sea level and boasts typical Central European architecture: cobbled streets, impressive public buildings and well laid out greenery.
Built around two medieval settlements with the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) being its core, the city skilfully combines modern attractions with well-established favourites. Start your day at the Museum of Contemporary Art, then have a stop at the Zagreb Cathedral or make a wish at the Old Town Gate. The locals say it will be granted!
For a more relaxing time, Zagreb features two lakes - Jarun and Bundek - both offering recreational facilities and hosting festivals and events. After having fun in the sun, you might want to hit the shopping at the colourful markets and small boutiques selling local crystal, ceramics and cravats.
To get a different perspective on the city, climb Medvenica, a mountain over 1000 metres tall overlooking Zagreb, and admire the views while sipping famous Croatian wine. And while you’re there, don’t forget to visit the Medvedgrad fortress.

Zagreb is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and modernity. Nestled between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and the banks of the Sava River, Zagreb offers a picturesque setting. Its historic Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is characterized by cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and landmarks such as St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower. The Lower Town (Donji Grad) contrasts with a more modern atmosphere, featuring elegant 19th-century buildings, lively squares like Ban Jelačić Square, and cultural institutions like the Croatian National Theatre. Initially finding our way to the Dolac market (it was towards the end of the day so fruit and vegetables were cheaper) was via a bus and then a tram (best to travel with local currency in coins as public transport is very cheap), however as we explored the public transport network via the tram route it was a faster way to travel into and out of the city from where we stayed at m-blok. Catching a bus and tram back to the city to hire a car was seamless on our last day. Getting to and from places is very easy once you know where you're going so a car is unnecessary in Zagreb. You can buy bus/tram tickets at Tsik kiosks located close to public transport or on the bus/tram. Note that most coffee cafe's only sell coffee and not food. We enjoyed food from Pekara Dubravica 'home of the finest snacks'. They have a great chicken salad, three different types of burek and more. We ate at II Secondo (reasonable price and big serves), Burger Bar and Burger and Beer Bar Mrav (cheaper eats and big serves).

If you wanna be welcome ,don't come.
If you wanna be welcome ,don't come. I am saying this as a homegrown Zagrebian. I always feel unwelcomed, and I was born here :)
If you're passing through, by all means.
Foreigners generally like Zagreb, but if you're up for a good time, fun, music, company, just don't come. It's not worth the trip and it's not worth your money. Remember this capital is not treating it's own people well.
Go somewhere where the citizens are respected and foreigners are warmly welcome. Y'all have great stayings and safe journeys!

Zagreb is a great city ,transport very good easy to use and every kiosk sells trams tickets 56cents for 30 mins accross town and can be bought in various mins including a day ticket to travel from early morning to till night . there is a city bus that takes you to the airport for 1.12 euros you get a tram walk a few mins and pick up a bus so can be done cheaply, there is an 8 euro bus journey to/from the bus station and then a tram from there to centar and you know you have arrived as its like a big square with shops and resturants around it and on the right a of square the tourist office. A lot of the Churchs/Cathederal and palaces were not open to the public since the earthquake in 2020 still under repair as are a lot of buildings with minor damages. Lots of resturants to eat every where reasonably priced, the best shopping was in the area around the main train station there is an underground shopping mall and lots to choose from down there. .

The city is an easy city to travel around especially if you are central. Transport is good. The down side is the airport bagage claim, the airport lack of announcements for delayed flights and the fact that places of interest are closed on Easter and Easter Monday.

We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful.
We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful. So many green spaces, parks ,statues, sculptures and gorgeous architecture. Lots to see for free. It’s an easily walkable area but the transit is amazing and so affordable! There are so many museums to choose from. I really enjoyed the Museum of Broken Relationships, it was funny and sad and made me cry a few times, but was really unique. We also enjoyed being in the Stone Tower when the canon was fired. The gunner? or artillery man was a real treat . We were amazed by the Mirogoj cemetery and the Botanical gardens were lovely. Our favourite meal was at Stari Fijaker 900. Great food, service and historical ambiance.
I only stayed one night as I was going to fly out the next day. I tried to find a place close to the airport, but when I read the reviews of other places there were some reviews I didn’t like and this one was reviewed well. It was old world charm - these big heavy keys. The room was very large and clean. The hotel staff was very professional and responsive. The restaurant was charming and I think we ate off china. The one meal I had was a little bland for my taste buds, but good enough to eat.
Everything was very comfortable, hotel is located next to the central bus station, 3 minites from tram stop. You can get by the tram 6 to city centre (approximately it takes max 15 minutes). The staff can call for a taxi, to the airport in gets in 18-20 min. The breakfast is included, it is a full continental breakfast. Also for smokers it is possible to smoke at the terrace in you room with a city-view. Rooms are heated so it is comfortable in the cold season to stay there.
The hotel has an excellent location, it is located very close to the city center of Zagreb. Our room was nice and clean, water kettle for making coffee and tea was a nice bonus. The breakfast was good, we liked the variety of food, it was all in all a nice and pleasant experience. The receptionist was kind and helpful and showed us a great restaurant, where we had fantastic cevap for dinner. Should I visit Zagreb again, I will definitely come back.
The hotel has been updated to a high standard but has also been given and has retained a lot of character.
The breakfast was very good and the freshly prepared coffee was the best I have had in a long time.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The associated restaurant served excellent quality food.
The location was good, just a short drive to the city centre whilst being in a quiet location.
The room and bathroom were both large.
The Hotel is in an excellent location close to the train station and just 3 tram stops to the city centre. The breakfast was very good with a vast selection of food. The room was comfortable, just had a small issue with WIFI because of the position of my bed which was losing connection. The staff at reception namely Tibor was excellent, very helpful and fluent in his English. Would use this Hotel next time i visit Zagreb :)
This hotel is amazing, worth every cent. Staff was very welcoming and kind, gave us useful info regarding what to do and visit in Zagreb. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Bathroom is spacious, shower was great.
There is nice parking space on the premises. Location is great, its near the city center but kind of hidden away and there isn't much crowd around the hotel.
Very comfortable beds. Rooms although slightly outdated decor-wise, were clean and spacious. Location was good, ideal if arriving in Croatia late at night as the hotel is close to the airport and provides late check ins and free parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious, also included in the room rate.
The room was big and clean, and even though we had a pretty basic room we had a sofa, desk and king-sized bed (which was very comfortable). The bathroom was nice. A walking distance from the city center. The hotel’s pool was great - both large and well designed. It even had calming background music :)
It's an apartment turned into a mini-hotel (a set of rooms without a reception). Very clean and well-equipped. Nicely located within walking distance (three tram stops) from the city centre. Direct trams to the train and bus stations. The nearest supermarket is in the same building.
Everything!
Amazing new hotel right in the city center, with incredible attention to details and exquisite design. I felt sad having to leave but will definitely come back again.
The restaurant was great, breakfast one of the best i’ve ever had!
Staff extremely helpful and kind.
This hotel is the best experience we had in Zagreb, this was our third stay and not the last. Free parking, amazing rooms and most of all the best staff. 24 hours front desk, great breakfast and overall comfort that you can only get in a much more expensive hotels. We love it !
Clean, comfortable, quite room with everything needed for a few days stay. Kind and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the buss station therefore convenient to reach the airport. Around 15-20 minutes walk from the city center which was also convenient for me.
still my favorite hotel in Zagreb!!! best friendly staff beginning from reception till restaurant:) Nikola greetings for best waiter. everybody from staff is waiting to help you but in not offensive style. real Croatian style in nice edition:)
New part of hotel, clean and everything what you need for short stay. Helpfull personnel. Parking in front of hotel. 2 bus stops or 18 minutes walk from Zagrzeb city center. Very good for short stay when you travel through Croatia.
Definitely a place to visit again! Located in the city centre, yet no traffic noise. Staff extremely friendly, Lucia especially. The double bad was perfectly comfortable...all in one: one of the best hotels I visited in Zagreb.
We loved the room: it was clean and tidy, very cosy, pretty furniture...
Breakfast was wonderful and it has a great variety.
The staff were so nice, and all the facilities were excelent.
: ) Best hotel!
Exceptional little hotel, helpful staff, bountiful breakfast, super clean and comfortable room. The best value stay I have experienced in Europe. Wish I could have stayed for more than a night.
