If you are searching for an authentic ,relaxing place, far from the busy life and reasonable price ,that's it. The rooms are very clean, big and comfortable. Breakfast in the room was fantastic. The village is 40 minutes from Amalfi with car, bus station is 150 meters also. Many restaurants around. Vincentzo was such a great host, always with smile and ready to help us. Great hospitality. Thank you ❤️

If you are expecting a quiet mountain village look elsewhere.
Of course it is not as crowded as Amalfi an Positano, but it still has a lot of traffic going through.
The streets are very narrow and there is virtually no pedestrian infrastructure.

A quite but beautiful quaint town high up the mountain from Amalfi. Sonia was so wonderful along with her family, making us feel right at home. We added two more days because we loved it so much and didn’t want to leave. She helped us with places to see and our iternary for the path of gods. Thank you so much for all your kindness and the great memories we will cherish forever. A super hostess!

It is a small town on the hills of Amalfi, one hour away from any beach city. The people are very friendly, it is a quite small town with cozy restaurants and great food, more suitable for a silent rest than the beach resorts.

The location very nice, like in the mountains.
The location very nice, like in the mountains. A good location to visit Amalfi coast, although not straight on the shore. Around 1.5h drive to Positano, quite similar times to Amalfi and Ravello, +\- 10 mins. Be prepare to mostly eat pizza, not many restaurants in Agerola and mostly well rated are Pizzerias.
Our experience at Locanda with Emilio was perfect, from the location just steps from Sentiero Degli Dei to the perfectly appointed rooms to the cozy atmosphere. The Hotel is beautiful but what made ours an excellent experience was the staff. We were welcomed by Emilio and he immediately made us feel at home. By the end of our stay we felt like long lost friends with both. The breakfast crew was attentive to every detail, nice people and professional at all times. We cannot wait to be back in Amalfi with our familyand stay at Emilio's house
The property is in Agerola which is not a very touristy place. But we loved the property and as we went in this Feb it was out of season time. So Amalfi coast was much more empty & we were the only one at the hotel. The owner Gabriella was outstanding!! She gave us personalised service & her breakfasts were amazing.
She is such a lovely person. Always eager to give us tips regarding various places to visit.
Gabriella made our trip so memorable & we wish her all the very best 🥰
The room was in great condition, felt like newly built/renovated and a convenient breakfast included was bonus. The owner was quite concerned with the guests.
The hotel did not have a private parking but very close to public one, which was available with free spaces all the time.
Also the hotel location is very close to the center of Agerola. We also enjoyed spending time in the town with some budget-friendly cute cafes and dinner options.
Large choice for breakfast, pastries/omelettes/juices, etc, and staff very attentive and helpful. Amazing views from our room and the hotel was spotless. Loved the beautiful tiled floors! Hotel is located halfway up a mountain so is a challenging uphill walk from the town of Agerola, but the hotel offer a shuttle car service which we used a few times, and it was always available when we requested it.
A wonderful gem hidden in the mountains above Amalfi. The hotel is truly wonderful. The view is breathtaking from the hotel. The staff was also very helpful and polite. There’s also parking available on premises. The breakfast was very nice and the lady was considerate enough to make warm omelette. The room is well equipped and comfortable and you also get a balcony to relax. Truly worth the price.
Excellent location, minutes away from the path of the gods hike and easy access from Amalfi.
Super friendly staff.
Most excellent breakfast and lunch sandwich!
(Just as a side note, the location on booking.com is slightly inaccurate: the reception is at the "Rabbit" restaurant, as indicated on Google Maps. Everything is very easy to find on site though, the hotel is very well indicated.)
Great breakfast and beautiful quiet neighborhood. Very nice host!! We walked from Almalfi which I do not recommend unless you love climbing stairs. Highly recommend doing the walk of the gods. We walked from the hotel to the trail and ended up doing it all the way back as well! Be advised doing it that way does take the entire day but we loved it!
The most amazing breakfast, some of the best we’ve had in Italy so far. Great location if you want to do the Path of gods hike (10 min walk to the start of the path). Convenient bus stop with direct connection to Amalfi(2 min walk). The atmosphere is super welcoming.
Make sure to try their home made jams.
If you wish to enjoy the view of the Amalfi coast from above go to Agerola to stay at Rifugio del Cuore , a nice place with everything you need, hot shower, electric kettle, fridge and a hospitable proprietor . From here you can go hiking and enjoy incredible scenery or just walk in the Corona park
Everything was great! Rooms are big and spacious, pool is amazing. Breakfast was also good. It is around 40min drive to Amalfi coast. You can take the hotel shuttle bus or rent a scooter nearby. Agerola is a calm small city with a shop next to the hotel and plenty of restaurants.
The hotel was excellent in every way. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to explore the Amalfi coast. The buffet breakfast set us up nicely for the day. Theresa was an excellent host, helping us to plan our days and where to eat etc.
We were travelling to the Amalfi coast and the hotel was in the outskirts of the region. It was a wonderful but difficult drive form the property to the coast (narrow street but gorgeous view) Convenient parking.
