Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid. A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey. There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines. A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.MarekPoland - 10Scored 10

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.

Close to the train station and close to the beach, 5 minutes walking distance from each. It is perfect for families with kids, having a room with bunk beds. If you go along the road to the right, then there will be a supermarket not far away. If you follow the road to the left, then at a distance of 2-3 kilometers there will be seafood restaurants.
