Annabel and Mark are very friendly, avalaible and open to discuss. We felt like we were at home.
The place is charline, the view from the Lodge marvelous. You have a panoramic view on Turrialba and irazu volcanos.
The lodge is simply confortable, the dinner very good served in a common room. The breakfast is continental, according to travelers choice whose doesn't want to eat rice one more Time!
To resume, it was a really great stay, the place and people who carry about it being amazing.
I recommend it eyes closed!

Very nice wooden building with 'mountain lodge' flair. Spacious room with 2 double beds (four poster beds with moscito curtains). Lovely flower decoration in the room and bathroom. Nice bathroom with open window (no glass). Strong hot shower and nice towels.

A lovely, quiet property great for relaxing. There were bikes available to borrow to get around the property. The rooms were nice and clean. The building is beautiful. We did a horse back riding tour from the property which was great - would recommend

We did a tour to the cheesemaking farm Herencia, high up on the slope of the volcano. Getting there via Google maps was a bit tedious but on the way back we got better directions - via Santa Cruz and Torito. The tour is a great experience! On the way back we visited the national monument at Guayabo. We also tried to reach the Aquiares waterfall, but this is a bit difficult to find and we did not get there in time, had to turn back. The last stretch is climbing over big boulders along the riverbed.Stegeman

The Owners Mark and Annabelle were very friendly and happy to stop for a chat, their Management team - Marvin and Virian were excellent. They made us delicious breakfasts and dinners each day, organised a fantastic rafting tour for us and kept us entertained with great conversations, gave lots of info about the surrounding areas - places to visit, culture, history etc... We had a really good time, did some hiking, bird watching, waterfalls... would love to come back.
