Really enjoyed our stay ! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city center, and just 1 min from a small beach. The room was very tidy and clean, and it had a private terrace that overlooked a waterfall and Lake como at the same time ! However, what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the hosts, especially Giovanni :)

We liked that the host provided a video on how to get into the apartment, that was helpful. The apartment fit all 5 of us and was very clean. The washer was a plus (although we didn’t have time to use it), and the kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal-not always the case for some places we’ve stayed. We really liked the location in Bellano; quiter than Varenna and close to good places to eat. We actually wish we had spent more time there as the accessibility to the trains and the ferries was excellent and Bellano was super cute. We would definitely return to Fall in Love with Lake Como!

Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.CsanádHungary - 10Scored 10

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano. We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!Festa - 10Scored 10
Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

The location of Bellano was more quiet and local (we liked being away from all the tourist stuff) but train and ferry to the other cities/towns were walking distance. Amazing view with loads of breakfast options in the morning, nice garden, longue chairs to relax in, a hot tub, private beach, you can rent kayaks. Owners of this family-run boutique hotel are quite nice people. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast is very rich and delicious, and it is very pleasent as well with the nice view. There are free parking spots available at the hotel and in front of it. I will definitely stay here if I visit Bellano again.

The view of Lake Como from our outdoor area was stunning. We really like Bellano as it was a "real" town with a real community and not just about tourists.
