On every one of my adventures there is one hotel/B and B that is outstanding.
12 days in Sardinia and this is the one!
Lovely chatty welcome from reception staff and an excellent quiet room with a mini balcony.
Although there was a bar around the corner the only noise was what you would expect was from the ferry.
Wide choice for breakfast to suit all nationalities.
I loved the filtered water machine with fresh lemons. Even in May so hot and welcome
Excellent location. For history and natural world lovers you can walk around the perimeter of the once functioning salt pans and see the wildlife

Beautiful apartment where the hosts paid lots of attention to detail. It is located in walking distance to the old town and nearby beautiful beaches. Our room had a private terrace which we enjoyed as well. We were welcomed in a very warm way, the hosts provided plenty of tips what to do at daytime and where to go out to eat, we were given free little bottles of water every day - they really went above and beyond! Free WiFi was fast and great, we just had to turn the router off and on again to get it started.

Carloforte is an old village of colorful houses, you can breathe an air of joy and friendly people. The only thing is that there is not much tourist information of the place, very bad signage on the road to find the beaches, they charge tax for 3 to 5 euros to use the cutlery on your plate of food in restaurants and we find it INCREDIBLE, if one pays that because you can not take the cutlery? Nowhere in the world do they charge for cutlery. And this happens all over Sardinia. I recommend a gelateria in front of the DECOLMAR boats, a yogurt ice cream with a delicious cherry sauce, it is attended by his father and son ... IL DIVINE FRUIT. A delicious pizza in the PIZZERIA NAPOLI near the square or central park of Carloforte is served by father mother and daughter, local and family businesses and we liked that, it benefits local tourism.

We enjoyed driving around to the far side of the island which isn't very big. We especially liked Il Colonne area on the southern side of the island. The beaches that we saw were mostly rocky beaches and not sandy.

Lovely little island to visit for a few days.
Lovely little island to visit for a few days. We stayed in the town, which was great. You only need 2 nights really though.
If you like snorkelling make sure you visit Cala Sapone on Sant'Antioco, the island next door to Carloforte. It's a little cove, and if you swim out a bit it's absolutely insane!! My favourite beach day of two weeks in Sardinia by a long way.

Worth to visit especially during September and October, out of the crowd of tourist. You can walk along paths from beaches to cliffs or hills, swim, ride a bike or have relax on the beach, watch the endogenous Eleonora's hawks. Carloforte is warm and cosy village.
We truly loved our stay here in Carloforte. Pasquale and Anne are really great people that take seriously having guests at their home. The rooms are loving, very nicely decorated, spacious and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast is abundant and with homemade sweets and pastries. We had enjoyable chats even though we had a small language barrier, and received recommendations
on what to visit and where to eat. Overall, lovely stay!
Our stay was incredible. Pasquale and Anna were perfect hosts in every aspect of our stay. Always attentive to our needs. Generous with their time and genuine warmth.
The room was perfect, as was the delicious breakfast which they served every morning. Lastly the location was perfect. We recommend their property to anyone looking for a fabulous stay in Carloforte.
Gracious hosts who Pasquale and Anna really made are visit to Carloforte special. They provided restaurant suggestions (all excellent), maps and for island stops. We had very comfortable accommodations -each room was individually decorated attractively by Anna. The breakfasts were ample - lovingly prepared by our hosts who made delicious tarts, and pastries.
Breakfast is not offered but it has a spacious and pleasant kitchen with appliances to prepare breakfast or dinner with useful kitchen elements. The location is perfect because it is within the town of caloforte and has nearby supermarkets shops restaurants, we arrived by ferry and in 4 minutes leaving the ferry to the via pastorino, very easy to reach.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast on the rooftop deck was wonderful. Lots of variety in the breakfast offerings. The location was absolutely perfect, walkable to restaurants, shops and the harbor. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
The house is fairly new and is spread over two floors which allows good space for a family. The kitchen is new and well-equipped. Located only short drive from Carloforte (less then 5min) and with easy access to all the beaches on the island. The host is reliable, kind and very helpful.
Nice people, nice breakfast, the hotel is situated in the middle of town. What does not make it is a very calm place, but it is very much in the middle of this bautiful town.... Very clean rooms. And Caloforte is just a wonderful little city. Very charming.
Thé B&b is located in the center of the old town of Carloforte, close to restaurants and services. It is a charming place and run with care and heart. Beautiful place and I will for sure come back as carloforte has touched my soul. Can only recommend🤗

Nice artistic hotel, beautiful deco, lovely garden where you can have breakfast. The staff is very kind and the breakfast has sweet and savory options, and offered typical Sardinian food.
Everything about the hotel - location, rooms, breakfast, service, family that owns it provides all the information you need to explore the island and gave the best vacation if your life!
Amazing flat, unique interior design, very large and comfortable spaces, great location! Host, Francesca was really kind and helpfull. Defenietly in love with Carloforte! 🇮🇹❤️
The flat is right at the heart of Carloforte, there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Particularly good fruit and veggies right in front of the flat.
Fairly expensive camping like hotel, not so great value for money.
Location was very nice though.
Frankly, breakfast is to be avoided, honestly very poor.
