Alfredo a very gracious host. He completely renovated this ancient home into a beautiful, and I mean very beautiful, bnb with three gorgeous large rooms and baths, and a cozy sitting area with fireplace and kitchen. Artistically crafted details throughout at a 5 star level. Custom metalwork for the stairs, etc. Very nice linens, towels. super comfortable beds and pillows. Easy parking nearby. walk ten steps to nearest restaurant. couldn't have a better location. period. I would highly recommend.

Well located in a charming street in the centre of Citta della Pieve, the property is characterful, clean and comfortable. The design is well thought through by the owners who travel frequently themselves. There is no fuss but absolutely everything you need. The kitchenette is great for breakfasts and snacks. Anne’s guide to restaurants and local attractions is fun and informative. The welcome flowers, fruit and wine are the finishing touches. Great hospitality and very good communication on arrival and departure.

A beautiful walled city/town right on the Tuscany/ Umbrian border. Excellent location to access key areas of Tuscany and Umbria. Busy little town with good food and fantastic views over the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. Tourists disappear at 5pm and the locals come out. Hotel has great food at reasonable prices with private (free) parking.
DO NOT BRING A BIG CAR if you want to stay off the central streets inside the city walls! The entrances through the walls and some of the streets are VERY narrow with VERY limited parking.

This is a pristine, extremely well preserved, maintained, and restored medieval hill town with a strong and dedicated local community. Despite its small size Citta della Pieve champions the arts and culture (art classes, library, performances). There is clearly money here. Every facade and street is immaculate. The people are happy. Really Italian happy. There is zero crime. the restaurants, cafes and bars are better than cities 10x its size, yet the prices are low. Views and countryside are pristine. Access is excellent just off the A1.

We loved the friendliness of the locals during passeggiata, the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness of the town. It was the perfect short break in a beautiful Italian small town! We ate pizza at 320 Gradi one night (delicious!) and had breakfast at our accommodation (also delicious and lots of variety). We were particularly impressed by one staff member at Caffe' degli artisti who offered to mix us up a cooling beverage on a very hot afternoon - what he concocted perfectly hit the spot as did his attitude! It was also well placed for visiting other towns in the area - Panicale, Castiglione del Lago, Chuisi, Cortona, Arezzo.

Stunning villa with beautiful views to the town. The garden / pool attended to by Stefano was superb. Our family enjoyed the table tennis and bbq areas. A fabulous welcome aperitivo of local produce prepared for our arrival was glorious. They were so friendly and helpful in ensuring our stay was magical at Pieve Mirabella. We followed their recommendations on restaurants in the town of Città della Pieve and they did not disappoint 💕A day trip to the salt baths was lovely and the town of Orvieto is well worth a visit.
The Italian hospitality was so very appreciated. Nicolai and his wife Linda were impeccable hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Their command of English is good too so communication was easy. The room was attractive, the bathroom offered everything we needed. The house itself is filled with Italian charm. Citta della Pieve is steeped in history taking one back in time. It’s all very romantic. My husband and I loved it there and will happily return.
Great location, in old section, recently renovated to modern standards, spotlessly clean, had everything (generous supply of water, fridge, plenty of towels, tv, mosquito nets on windows, shutters that closed out light, hair dryer, etc), all in great condition. Plus AC. Plus the owner met me at the parking lot and carried my luggage to the flat!!! Plus amazing location for walking to the sites, access to restaurants and bars for breakfast.
This fabulously welcoming "home from home" is located in the charming medieval Citta della Pieve. Linda and Nicola's house is built into the ancient exterior city walls and retains original quirky features while having all the comforts you could wish for. A delicious breakfast which includes Linda's freshly baked cakes is served in her rose garden which presides over a breathtakingly beautiful view of the entire Chiana Valley.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Hosted by a very warm family, who make you feel at home from the first moment. Delicious and fresh breakfast in the mornings. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed it very much. From the B&B you can easily discover Italy’s charming towns. Being only 5 minutes driving from Citta della Pieve offers plenty of dining options.
Loved it all. beautiful location away from everything and everyone. We stayed here half way through our 3 week European driving excursion. Pre -arranged spa and massages. Even though restaurant was closed, the owner and her mother served us a private dinner - and so delicious. They made us feel like we were staying in someone’s home rather then a hotel.
• absolutely brand new property
• very luxuriously renovated
• superb & new private swimming pool, with astonishing view over Toscana hills
• very nice owners who invested their time and efforts in every piece in the house
• only 1 km from Citta Della Pieve - lots of fine restaurants to visit and again very nice sceneries
Fantastic overnight stay. Incredibly friendly hosts and a homely atmosphere throughout all stay. Peace, quiet and amazing cleanliness. Lovely pool and garden area. A good starting point for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. Access very well signposted. The hosts produce their own olive oil, which you can buy.
Beautiful large apartment, with balcony and view, in the historical centre of Citta' della Pieve. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet at night, street parking and restaurants 5 mins by walk. Host provided us a lot of tips and detailed information and answered us really fast.
This was a beautiful little apartment, very well located in a quiet street, but near the main attractions. Lots of nice touches. Bed, pillows and mattress were very comfortable.
Super friendly, helpful, host. Nice for a short stay in beautiful Citta Della Pieve.
The hotel is lovely in a perfect location in a darling town. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome - they booked a darling restaurant for us too. Big comfortable room and nice amenities. We are looking forward to returning.
The property is beautifully located in the lovely medieval town of Città della Pieve. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, especially Veronica! We thoroughly enjoyed an abundant breakfast after a wonderful night’s sleep.
The welcome you get from Katia is second to none . You are made to feel like part of the family. Location is fantastic with just a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Citta Della Pieve. Food was very nice too. Nice large room.
Property is very beautiful, well maintained. The on site restaurant was great, and we also ejoyed the location for exploring Umbria and parts of Tuscany. Pool was as well. We enjoyed horse riding lessons as well
Breakfast was typical continental. The hotel is in great location near the town with bars and restaurants. The Hotel bar and restaurant were not open during our stay.
Super helpful manager who was very attentive. Very good location for seeing Tuscany and Umbria. Close to a train station that allows you to get to wherever you want.
