Excellent hotel. Friendly helpful staff who speak good English.
Good breakfast. Traditional hotel with traditional but elegant decor. Secure parking. Reception not attended in Afternoon so important to ring for passcode for door.
I would have 2 suggestions to make it better. Small fridge in room to cool water or cool water dispenser in common area would be most welcome. Secondly (and eventually) please provide a car charging point at some time in the future. Few hotels seem to have them. EV owners look for hotels that offer charging so good for business.

Its a lovely small town with great restaurants and bars but not noisy or overcrowded when we visited in October. It was still hot enough to swim. We also hired bikes and you can easily cycle for many miles along a cycle path along the coast to Viareggio and beyond

Located in the middle of Versilia with the bustle of Viareggio and the sophistication of Forte dei Marmi 5km to the south and north MDP has it's own friendly vibe with a lovely stretch of beach (private) and a centre (Tonfano) with plenty of restaurants, gelateria and bars plus shops. Don't miss the Saturday market and visit Capriccio for the best ice cream and Da Carlino for a great meal but you'll need to book ;-)

Second trip here, once in May, shoulder season, perfect!
Second trip here, once in May, shoulder season, perfect! July is HOT and more people but the magnificent little coastal town is all you want in Holiday. Good food, wonder beaches, good shopping and easy access to the train and bus to the rest of Italy, if you want to leave! Forte di Marma is a 15 minute bike ride (great bike lanes) Viareggio is a 20 minute bike ride and Pietrasanta itself 10 minute bike ride. Rotation of large public art pieces is a treat!

If you are a tourist it is difficult to figure out this town...
If you are a tourist it is difficult to figure out this town. Menu’s are rarely displayed outside of restaurants, you need to go inside and find a waiter to see if they have a spare table, even on weekdays every restaurant seems to be fully booked until at least 10pm, most restaurants serve the same dishes which is seafood variations, and the waiters don’t speak any English or appear to favour locals over the few tourists. Restaurants by the beach are more expensive - gnocchi was £28 in one of them! I’d advise asking your hotel to book ahead restaurants for you if you see some you like and check what time siestas are as we stayed for five days and could never get in any restaurants before they seemed to close at midday. You’ll need to be a good walker to get from one side to the other - our hotel was in the middle and it was around a 40 minute walk from there to each town and a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. I’d advise hiring a bike or a car to get anywhere. We felt five days was enough for us - the food was nice but expensive and we’re not big fans of seafood, and the beach is around £30 to rent beds for a day. We weren’t informed of any attractions to visit so there was little to do other than sunbathe at our hotel.

Very clean sandy beach, perfect water and air temperature, a lot of bars and restaurants nearby.
Very nice view, made a small bike trip - for sports in the morning also ideal, but relaxing and sunbathing as well.
Very good place also for children to play around.

We had a great stay at hotel Arianna. The location is good close to the beach with lots of bagnos to chose from. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and we liked in particular the potential for our kids who can’t eat gluten to find good alternatives to eat. If back in Marina di Pietrasanta I would definitely consider to stay at hotel Arianna again.
We liked our terrace and the hotel's roof top although we did not use it much. There was an appetizer offered by the hotel every day, which is nice.
They offer discount for a private beach nearby.
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good, they make fresh eggs, pancakes and crepes right in front of you.
The staff is kind, except for the grumpy girl at the breakfast.
Room is on smaller side but very clean and modern decorated. Our room had direct ocean view. Breakfast is plentiful Italian fare with lots of sweet cakes and pastries. Great small pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. We spent a couple of days lounging on the rooftop instead of the beach.
Small stores and restaurants around the corner.
Great apartement at 3 minutes walking distance from the beach.
We had apartement Nr 1 with a little dinig area outside. Fully eqipped kitchen, bedroom, living room with TV and couch.
A big supermarket Esselunga is located within walking distance, 15 min by foot.
There was a private car park.
Everything was perfect - we clearly recommend this place!!
Perfect sea view, big fridge in the room, king size bed, the best breakfast we have ever had in Italy. Hotel gave us a discount for sun lounges at Bagno Tirreno. Family run hotel and we felt like home, everyone was very nice and happy to help. Free and plenty of parking spaces. We’ve stayed 2 nights and we intend to come back.
The hotel is really close to the seaside. Beautiful view, parking, staff was perfect. Man from the staff helped us with some issues during our road trip and we’re so grateful for that. The hotel is in typically italian style. Breakfast is ok, but every day is the same.
All staff were friendly and very welcoming, despite my lack of knowledge of Italian. The hotel is within easy, flat walking distance of the beach and village centre with restaurants, small shops and to my surprise, a pier! The room had a beautiful view towards the sea.
Breakfast was very nice. The staff made us fresh scrambled eggs and bacon. The only hotel that serves not just continental breakfast! Location was great, beach was across the street! Pietrasanta the Center was minutes away by car. The rooftop deck was fantastic!
It was our second stay at this hotel. Our holiday was great last time in September. We decided to come back again, and our decision proved perfect. They managed to make us stay in the very same room; staff, service, breakfast everything was great also this time.
Welcoming staff, very good breakfast. The family rooms are a bit small, no ekstra seating except for the beds, but I guess it is what you can expect for a three star hotel. It is clean. Perfect location, close to restaurants and beach.
Parking in the lot or nearby. For free or low cost.
Location!
Walk to everything and the Bagno Felice was wonderful.
Staff was so helpful and kind. Everyone was full of smiles and went above and beyond.
- Great Location very close to the beaches and the city centre with shops and restaurants
- parking
- kindness of the ladies and staff
- room, reception and restaurant very clean from day to night
Wonderful staff, super nice. Great location (close to the beach but quiet). Gorgeous garden and overall stunning house! Bonus for a little amusement park (open till 12am), right across the road:)
The hotel is very nice, clean, safe and close to the beach. The rooms have balconies and I like this very much. The staff is friendly and ready to help and it was a pleasure to talk with them.
Great hotel close to the beach. Its newly renovated and modern. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was really good with great selection. We liked this hotel a lot:) Definitely going back.
