It was very personal and the staff were very accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent. Although there were no tea / coffee making facilities in the room, the staff were happy to provide us with pots of boiling water and tea bags.
Nice view of the lake and mountains from our balcony. The room was nice and warm. The bed was comfortable.
Great cafe on site. The tap water was great quality and tasted incredible.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.
Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are...
A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

Lake Misurina is on the way when you drive to the trailhead parking for Tre Cime from Cortina di'Ampesso. Stay overnight at the lakeside will be a good choice as you may have a fantastic sunrise view at the lakeside!

An ideal base for hiking Tre Cime Di Lavaredor. Driving to Rifugio Auronzo, the starting point of the hike takes only 15 to 20 minutes. If you don't have a car, there are buses travelling regularly from Misurina to Rifugio Auronzoto. Besides, Lake Misurina itself is beautiful in its own right.AAnonymous

The hosts were very helpful, we have an electric car and they provided a power plug so we could plug over night the car, also, even though we did not reserved a dinner table on time, they really tried to provide us a table. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable, for sure we will come back again.

Private parking is a big benefit - it's hard to find a parking spot in Misurina. It's in a walking distance from the busses to Tre Cime, so there's no need to wake up crazy early to be able to get to the trail around Tre Cime. The stuff was very nice. The apartment we had was spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms (kids had their own bunk bed - it was an attraction itself) and a leaving room. The bed was very comfortable.

The location next to the lake and near hiking trails (but away from the craziness of Cortina) is perfect. The wifi is fast. Breakfast is great. I also ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and was very happy with my choice. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you to Nicola and the Hotel Sorapiss team for a wonderful experience!

The location can not be beat. Breakfast was outstanding. I do wish that it was available before 7:30 am as I was anxious to hit the trails early, but that seems to be the norm in the area and everywhere else that I stayed on my trip also started at 7:30, so I can't complain. Thanks for that! But the restaurant was a disaster. I ordered stewed deer with polenta and mushrooms. And the deer was mostly old junk like tendons and cartilage. No, it wasn't good. I would have preferred a pizza for half the price. Breakfast in the same style with ice-cold scrambled eggs and bacon.

The location is really fantastic if you want to do the Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike, as the toll checkpoint is about 3 minutes drive away. Also very close to Lake Misurina, which is beautiful too. The breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and clean.
