In my opinion the price is to high for what you get plus you have to pay extra for spa and the pool which i have not payed nowhere ive been. Maybe in Montepulciano cause all over that town prices are insane. Overall not bad but the price for money is to high.

Montepulciano is a charming town, and was very welcoming to my family. We had a great time exploring the city, and visiting the wine shops, restaurants, and stores. Definitely climb the tower at the top of the city, the view is breathtaking.
But be prepared to walk uphill, a lot. This town, as I am sure is the case with many other hill towns in Tuscany, is not friendly to people with walking disabilities, and only permitted cars are allowed in the city walls. If you are driving in from the surrounding area for a day visit, plan to arrive earlier in the morning as parking is a challenge. Staying in the city was a treat, but I wouldn't do it for more than a few days as leaving the city and finding parking again on your return is a challenge at best.

History and historic wines combine in Montepulciano.
History and historic wines combine in Montepulciano. My husband and I are sommeliers, art and history lovers. This town delivers on all scores and the locals are incredibly inviting and friendly - even more than the typical Italian standard. This town constantly has cultural and musical events, some serious and others simply fun in nature. Wineries close by, and the wine bars, closer.

Montepulciano is beautiful and old and hilly and kind of mysterious. It's fun to walk around – although your legs get sore! All the old buildings and streets and alleys were super cool. It was also great being in the heart of wine country. We'd heard a lot about Italian hospitality but didn't get a whole lot of that – it was still fun to explore ourselves, thpough.

The setting was breathtaking.
The setting was breathtaking. The accommodation was picture book perfect and included free parking! The views from the bell tower, directly across the piazza, made the climb worth every step! Highly recommended but allow yourself a minimum of a two night stay!

We had the great fortune of stumbling into the start of their week-long Bravio delle Botti festivities in which the neighborhoods compete against one another to roll wine barrels up the steep streets of the historical center. We got to see fantastic performances by the drum and flagwaving groups, have fantastic dinners put on by each of the 8 neighborhoods (contrade), and enjoy some shows put on in the Piazza Grande. The town itself is steep and filled with cantinas. Gorgeous historical hill town surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves. It's Tuscany at its finest. Fairly well touristed, so be cognizant of prices and a few tourist traps, but otherwise very pleasant.

Montepulciano is a small town and everything is within...
Montepulciano is a small town and everything is within walking distance, but it's very hilly (up and down). There are several good dining/drinking options (Trattoria di Cagnano on via Dell'Opio Nel Corsa was great for a late dinner!) and good for shops (tourist and retail/clothing/leather). Wine tasting is a must too (great wine options by the glass at the Montepulciano fortress and Enoliteca on via Di Gracciano Nel Corso)
This was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at! Clean and extremely comfortable room, fragrant bed and bath linen, the staff are extremely attentive, the breakfast is DIVINE (cold meats and freshly cut fruits, delicious cornetto, quality coffee, everything wonderful). The hotel is outside the no-parking zone, but very close to the entrance, which makes it easier for those with a car! I just have to thank you for your attention and incredible stay!
I highly recommend this accommodation in Montepulciano!
Really character filled location right in Montepulciano. The rooms are quite a good size. Breakfast room is very quaint and we had a really nicer breakfast laid out each morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is awesome but worth checking the road routes in the town. We had a BMW X5 and it was pretty tights driving but fun. the views are stunning from the property from both side, moving and night. The hotel has a wine bar / restaurant attached which is handy for a meal / drink.
The villa was gracious, beautifully decorated and quiet. Our rooms were spacious and provided everything we needed. The view was lovely and tranquil. Stefania the owner scheduled several wine tastings for us and is a wonderful source of local information.
The location is an easy, short drive to Montepulciano. Breakfast was always a pleasant array of items including made-to-order eggs. I highly recommend Villa Poggiano for anyone seeking a relaxing location.
A wonderful hotel in Montepulciano! Our room was beautiful, with incredible views and an amazing terrace. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, elegant and clean. The attention to detail, and personal service were top notch. The location inside the incredible historic city was amazing. We highly recommend Meuble Il Riccio, and definitely plan to stay here anytime we return to the area.
I spend few weeks in North and Central Italy and this apartment was the best for me (comparing similar or bigger prices). It is located in old city, but in quiet area. It is after renovation. Very nice design. It was new but still with old soul (especially ceilings). It was well equipped - coffee machine and some sweet Italian breakfast kit. Very comfortable bed. Nice and friendly host with good contact.
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast, the best we had in the last 2 weeks of travelling around Sardinia, Corsica and Tuscany spending 1 night in each accommodation. Spacious room with a balcony with a beautiful view on Montepulciano. Great location - close to Montepulciano and shop. Out of the main road, surrounded by olive trees. Cute cats at the property. Safe private parking.
This is a one of a kind stay that I hope to return to often. I highly recommend you include this spot on your trip to Italy. The hosts were lovely and accommodating and the house sits in a beautiful field of olives, grapes, lemons, artichokes, and countless herbs. At night we saw deer and rabbits and beautiful sunsets. Best part of our trip.
We loved the peaceful and relaxing terrace with wonderful views of Montepulciano (minutes away). Our hostess was so helpful - offering suggestions for our visits and lovely conversations. The breakfasts we had were out of this world! Finally, this was the only shower that we encountered in Italy in which my husband could fit (6'7").
Beautifully appointed room atop the highest point of Montepulciano with views to both valleys (both sunrise and sunset!), with a cute hidden room to boot! Good tasty breakfast as well. The owner makes sure your stay is comfortable and worry free. From here you can explore all Montepulciano has to offer, which is quite a lot.
Good location - only <15min drive from Montepulciano and within 1 hour drive to many nearby Tuscan towns. The hotel breakfast and dinner food quality was excellent. We were in love with the omelet served at breakfast every day. The pasta dishes were also very very good (beating many restaurants in the hilltop towns nearby).
First time in Italy and the staff were exceptional. Alot of improvements happening around the site but nothing that was an inconvenience and will be a great spot when ccompleted. Staff went out of their way to assist with anything needed. The restaurant and food quality was also a highlight... had some very enjoyable meals.
This lovely hotel is in a great location. We were greeted by Niccolo with warm energy and amazing dinner and winery recommendations. A delicious breakfast was included with homemade pastries by Niccolo's brother. Very clean room and with free parking. Will definitely stay here again next time I come to Montepulciano.
Breakfast was great overlooking the town of Montepulciano on the top of the hill. Lunch when we arrived and Wine was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
We loved the location, off road drive over looking the winery to this farm house! The outdoor hot tub was great on the cool night in October!
Everything was perfect, it was definitely the best accommodation during my Italian trip. The owners are such kind and hard-working people and they made me feel at home, plus they have two very sweet dogs! I highly recommend staying here for everyone who wants to feel what true Italy is.
Warm welcome by the host Gianni along with a bottle of well known Montepulciano red. The place is a little bit away from the center but we already know and expected that prior to booking. The place was clean and huge! Maybe the biggest bathroom we’ve stayed at in Italy.
The property is amazing, fully resort farm house with a modern touch, amazing bathrooms, beautiful gardens and fantastic food cooked by Igor. Picturesque vista, and not that's far from town to walk. The most amazing stay of our time in italy.
We booked this trip last minute on our way through Italy. WE GOT SO LUCKY as it is usually booked out. One of the highlights of our trip. The hosts went above and beyond. Private chef was so beautiful and her food was amazing.
The bed was very comfortable and had
lots of pillows (unlike most other places in Italy where we’ve stayed!). The bathroom was gorgeous and very clean, with nice toiletries and slippers.
Great breakfast, best croissant we had in Italy. Home made cake. 5 minutes from town. Well decorated, attractive rural stone home. Not a fancy place, but comfortable. Very rustic.
Historic location. In main square of Montepulciano. Building with history since 1504. Having stayed there for a night, was like a (luxury) timetravel back to 1800..
