Beautiful location . But access to the hotel tricky. Special in dark..Our room beautiful. But miss warm floor in the room. Why did they not add the heat floor. It's a new building and Dullstroom is cold at night most of the year. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. and a lovely lounge area with a fireplace was a plus

Dullstroom is really lovely for a weekend away or a stopover from the Kruger area.
There are lovely shops and fantastic restaurants. The people are super friendly and its easy to walk around and discovery little things.
Mrs Simpsons restaurants is fantastic and the hosts are amazing. We also had wonderful meals at the MayFly, Baker Brothers, The Waffle Shop and, of course, Harries Pancakes.
It can get cold there but in general, all the places are kitted out for this and are warm and cosy.
In all honestly, the meals and curios are not cheap and some stores feel a bit like tourist traps but then again, no one is forcing you to purchase anything so it's up to your budget how much you spend. But don't expect a cheap little town.
The drive from Johannesburg is quite pleasant as most of the roads are actually in fantastic condition ... BAR the small drive through Belfast. So sorry for that little town ... the roads are terrible.
Oh ... be careful of cows and goats on the road. A cute sight but can be dangerous, especially on a misty morning.
Always happy for a little trip to Dullstroom!

Quaint and quiet village once you leave the main road with its cheek-by jowl shops, restaurants and bric-a-brac outlets. Beautiful countryside to explore once you leave the town. A few very expensive shops some of which sell quite a lot of imported products ...why? A few more affordable options for fly-fishing in terms of catch-and-keep options would be appreciated. More locally manufactured and produced products would have been appreciated e.g. why do all fruit sellers, sell exactly the same fruit coming from Limpopo Province!

The town closes on a Tuesday and some shops stay also close until their is more people in the town... Weird. Whiskey tasting can only happen when there is a big group of people, I completely missed out on that one, even at The Highlander Hotel I was staying, I was really looking forward to do the Whiskey tasting. Sorry 😞 , make sure you are a big group for that one!!

Fantastic location.
Fantastic location. Make sure you bring Doom spray as flies are continuous. Fellow guests that did not stay in the superior villas were complaining of sloppy housekeeping and really poor building maintenance. The restaurant next to reception has really poor attention to service and many guests complain of inattentive staff and poor quality food.
At Sebakwe Accommodation in Dullstroom, my stay in the spacious, impeccably clean room was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail was carefully considered, enhancing the overall experience. From the tasteful decor to the fine attention to detail, it truly felt like a luxurious retreat. Malcolm, the friendly host, ensured that every need was met, making the experience worth every penny. I highly recommend this room for anyone seeking both comfort and value for money
This is a home away from home. The house is packed full of everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The house is large, with plenty of space inside and out. 2 fireplaces, plenty of wood, and importantly, comfortable beds. Everything has been thought of. The hosts, De Wet and Hetta could not have been more attentive. It is definitely worth considering if you plan a trip to Dullstroom.
The view... The Hottub... The whole pod was exceptional! Its peaceful, stylish, magnificent! Waking up as seeing the sunrise over the Dullstroom valley, can't imagine anything better. They provide everything that you would need. The hottub is the best part. Outside shower and the swinging chair on the porch are perfect toughes. I will definitely recommend this to ANYONE!
I really enjoyed the scenery on the property (beautiful dams and hills) and the activities offered. The 1-hr horse riding around the property is a great way to explore the area around the hotel. I also recommend the hiking trail on the mountain, where I spotted zebras and other game. The dinner menu, which changes every day, positively surprised me.
Very friendly and helpful host. He went out of his way to arrange for us to watch the WC final. Nice surrounds. Game on farm and self drive possible. Horses in paddock also add to relaxed atmosphere. Kitchen well equipped. Close enough to Dullstroom for visits while still being private and secluded.
Beautiful location. Excellent host. Lovely walks and good fishing dams. Close to town but remote enough to be peaceful.
Lovely fires in the evening and co.st atmosphere for a large group. Spacious rooms. Lots of space for little kids to run arounnd.
A great weekend away in Dullstroom; The apartment was very centrally located And close to a number of restaurants and bars; The main road was full of curio shops, restaurants and various stores selling artwork… All within a five minute walk.
Everything!
Hosts are amazing!
The cottage was stunning and equipped with everything we needed.
I wish we could stay there longer.
Absolutely recommend this property to couples who want a nice and romantic gateway.
We loved our stay and will definitely come back! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very lovely staff and the place was very quiet. We stayed in many places in Dullstroom, and Cinzaco is our new favourite.
Tranquility and great fishing for trout (brown and rainbow) and largemouth bass. Another highlight was the perfectly kept green lawn around the dams. We were all barefoot for most of the time. bliss
A great place to spend the night in Dullstroom. It was cozy, well-equipped and the owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Check-out early in the morning was no isssue.
Hands down, the best self catering venue we have ever been to. Neat, modern, clean. Peaceful and safe. Within walking distance from the centre of town. We will be back
The place was so cosy! Electric blanket, fireplace, marshmallows and sherry were really good touches! You can see a lot of love goes into these quaint cottages.
