The Hotel For You was born in the heart of the historic center of Olbia, a few meters from the central Corso Umberto, and near the "Bardanzellu" and "Via Nanni" car parks.

I recently stayed at Hotel For You from May 15th to 18th, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it convenient to explore the nearby attractions. Additionally, I was traveling by car and found the parking situation quite favorable. The hotel offers parking, but you can also park in front of the hotel at night for free, which was very convenient.
One of the highlights of my stay was the shower, which had great water pressure and temperature control, providing a refreshing experience after a long day.
On the positive side, the hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The amenities provided met my expectations, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s setup.
Well set in the Olbia City Centre district of Olbia, L'Essenza Hotel is located 17 km from Isola di Tavolara, 500 metres from Archeological Museum of Olbia and 400 metres from Church of St.

Everything! The room was lovely and clean, lots of choices for breakfast and the staff are amazing! I had an accident on day 3 of my trip and had to leave early to go home. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, couldn’t do enough for which I am incredibly grateful. The hotel is minutes from the port and the town centre.

Average breakfast, at least croissants and bread were fresh. Sheets and towels were fresh. The bed was comfortable. Some of staff members were really nice. The only really good thing was that we could park motorcycles in garage (of course we had to pay 5 € per bike per night) so that they stayed dry when it was raining.
Set literally just a few steps from the beach on a beautiful bay, Hotel Mare Blue features breathtaking views of Tavolara Island and comfortable rooms in typical Emerald Coast style.

Breakfast wasn’t the best, but the point of staying in this hotel is its proximity to the airport. Around 10min walk to the airport with pretty good condition pavement. Front desk staff was really friendly and welcoming.

Olbia is all about the sea, and what a glorious turquoise sea it is. As the gateway to Sardinia’s stunning Emerald Coast, this down-to-earth town is often overlooked in favour of the more glamorous resorts. However, it does have attractions of its own.
The simple Basilica of San Simplicio dates to the 11th century and the Church of St Paul the Apostle is also medieval. The National Archaeology Museum houses Roman ships, as well as prehistoric artefacts from the surrounding area.
Sardinia has a wealth of prehistoric structures and one of these – the Tomba dei Giganti Su Monte‘e S’Abe – is near Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport and medieval Pedres Castle. Across the bay is Sa Testa Sacred Well, dating to at least 1200 BC.
Along the coast in Pittulongu are the real attractions – fantastic, unspoilt beaches from where you can see rocky Tavolara Island, a popular diving site. In summer, boats sail there from Isola Bianca Harbour, the arrival point of ferries from the Italian mainland. The harbour’s fishing boats are responsible for the fantastic mussels in Olbia’s seafood restaurants, some of which are amid bars and shops on Corso Umberto – the locals’ favourite passeggiata spot.
The Olbia accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury spa hotels, apartments near the beach and cheap B&Bs.

We stayed in Olbia for two nights when we arrived in Sardegna and three nights when before we departed. Olbia has all the services available you need including banks, supermarkets, restaurants, and green spaces. The city center has many shops and is clean and nice to walk around as traffic is not permitted during peak hours. There are numerous archeological sites and beaches within an easy drive from the city. The buses and trains run regularly. Very nice outdoor market on Tuesdays near the train station where you can purchase fresh local vegetables and fruit, meat and cheeses and souvenirs. There are several historic churches in town. The airport is small but well equipped with a variety of food options, drink and shops. Both arrival and departure went well.

Olbia is a practical town to stay in because you can travel by bus or car to Sardinia’s top attractions. There is a lot of action on the Corso Umberto and surroundings but overall I found only a few good places to eat. The airport is close and easy to reach via public transportation. All in all I would recommend it as a place where you spend the night but you plan your day to day visiting the amazing beaches and hikes.

If you are travelling around northern Sardinia then I would recommend a visit to Alghero rather than Olbia.
There are very few places of interest in Olbia and the traffic network is very hard to negotiate with confusing signage in many parts.

A trip to Olbia felt like visiting the 'real' Italy.
A trip to Olbia felt like visiting the 'real' Italy. Tourists per se are not specially catered for, although there are tours of La Maddalena from Palau, dolphin spotting etc.
But what you do get is a warm welcome from local people.
Lively bars, but not thumping clubs.
- and the food is amazing, with a particular focus on local delicacies as well as fresh fish and seafood.
Easy to get to local beaches (Bados and Pittulongu) which have beach bars. plenty of loungers and parasols to hire for the day. Turquoise waters, sandy beaches.

Olbia is near aeroport, port, beaches, attractions, resorts.
Olbia is near aeroport, port, beaches, attractions, resorts. Lovely evenings in the car-free corso (main road) with restaurants, bars, market, karaoke, entertainers, hotels. 15 minutes drive to amazing Porto Rotondo and San Teodoro.
La Cala is a tiny jewel. Although small, the apartment has every comfort, including separate AC units in the master bedroom and living room. It is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and the Costa Smeralda airport. Its private parking space is a few feet from the main gate. Andrea, our host, responded to our messages promptly. Despite a last-minute change of schedule and unexpected traffic delays, we were greeted with a warm welcome, typical of true Sardinian hospitality. We appreciate it. We had a lovely time. Thank you!
Just couldn't fault the hotel in anyway what so ever totally beautiful,
Located in town is ideal short walk to restaurants cafe and bars
Very close to train station if thinking on travelling further
Bus stops with 5 minutes walk to either connection to airport or short drive to the best beaches I've ever seen truly stunning
Hotel clean quiet and so very personal that magic touch you are after not like chain brands
Amazing really was looking to escape for culture and that Italian style look no further
Highly recommended 🇮🇹❤
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. The apartment was in a stunning location with incredible views to watch the sunrise over the bay. It was clean, quiet and the hosts had left delicious Sardinian treats for us on arrival. It was a quick walk to the beautiful Porto Istana beach, and close to fab restaurants too. There is no WiFi but was not a problem since there is 4G and good reception to be able to use internet from a mobile phone. We highly recommend for an unforgettable stay!
The property was lovely! We traveled on bikes and Antonio has been kind enough to let us leave our bike boxes with him while we bike around Sardinia for our honeymoon! Antonio was so helpful and very friendly. He served us a lovely breakfast each morning and our room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect place for us to get our feet in the ground and recover from Jet lag. Highly recommend staying at Al Pez!!
Very confortable room, good location (around 30min to main beaches in costa Esmeralda and golfo aranci), best breakfast ever with local products, great variety and the possibility of take away. But the best is the care of the host, really nice and always willing to help, also gave us the best tips for our holidays! We will definitely return and recommend for anyone who is visit Sardinia.
Fantastic stay in a beautifully remote location nestled in the mountains just 15 minutes away from Olbia and within 30 to 60 minutes of various stunning beaches/mountain peaks. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped. The hosts were responsive and very helpful with providing recommendations for local areas of natural beauty.
Beautiful Italian B&B. Our room had a lovely balcony with a gorgeous sea view. It was in a fantastic position to explore the north east of Sardinia by car. 15 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful beach and great for snorkelling. Julia the host was brilliant, so helpful, friendly and kind. Will definitely go back to stay here
The space was quirky, fun, and very comfortable for our short stay in Olbia. Stefano was a fabulous host and gave us recommendations for restaurants and beaches in the area. He provided clear communication and made our stay great! We also enjoyed the espresso at breakfast, and the snacks/food available to us.
All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made our stay comfortable and stress free. The beach was beautiful with a private section for hotel guests and the food was amazing. Breakfast was included and had so many options to choose from. Our room was lovely, perfect for a 5 night stay.
Jazz hotel is the perfect gate-way to Sardenia as it within walking distance from Olbia airport. We have now been at Jazz hotel several times, it really is the perfect start for a wonderful vacation in Sardenia and we surely feel at home immediately when coming to Jazz hotel.
The room and bathroom were very clean! The hotel is also centrally located and super close to the bus stop that you would need to reach the airport and the beach. Everything else is in walking distance. The B&B staff was amazing and I have zero complaints.
Paradise beach, excellent service from staff, Giuseppe, Michele, Mona on reception, and other staff members, quality home cooked Sardinian food
Thank you from Laura, Brian, Eduardo and Fito Room 49 & 50
