    The accommodation was great.

    The accommodation was great. The location was ideal but Margate is a mess. Vagrants all over and they make you feel unsafe. You do not dare to go for a walk anywhere, especially on the beach. Sorry, that is how i feel. I am 68 and not frail.

    The area, the location, the beach. Margate is sooo relaxed, so calm! The beach there is so beautiful and leisurely. Everyone there is laid back. Decent and safe place to take kids and to just sit back and relax.

    Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms.

    Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

    Margate is a beautiful holiday spot with good beaches. We had our meals at Margate Hotel. Driving around is easy. Shelly Centre and South Coast Mall are near to satisfy additional needs. One should book book early to get quality accommodation.

    Dirty racist Pet Unfriendly unlike anything experienced. Dangerousness drugs available every corner BE PREPARED TO USE 40% OF YOUR MONEY ON TAXI no UBER ALLOWED, ESTIMATE R50/km and every stop additional R60. So a 5km 3 stop trip R350.

    Everything you need is around it is a walking distance you don't need to drive shops,clubs, swimming pool,beach, restaurants ,ShopRite isn't far we liked everything outside the premise it's only the apartment that disappointed us otherwise we had so much fun

The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. Additionally, the owner's hospitality and attentiveness added to the positive experience. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout our stay.

    The location is great with beacon rocks beach at walking distance. Swimming beaches are close by but will require a short drive to it. The streets and area is also not to busy giving piece and quite. The complex garden and pool are well maintained and the unit has access to the garden and semi private patio. The unit had everything needed for self catering.

    Awesome sea views and a nice big balcony.Apartment had everything you needed. A quiet block but busy street at the back. Block very well maintained and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice big living spaces and private. One of the better blocks on Margate main. Big blue swimming pool and beautiful gardens.All shops and beach within walking distance.

    First of all we got lost and went to ''MARGATE SUNSET APARTMENTS'' we called and were told we were in a wrong address . The place has tenants who stay with families, the people were nice but the unit did not match the one the pictures. I guess they're just starting a business which is okay but they just need to be honest with their advertorial.

    Very neat, spacious and well kept apartment, direct beach access which is amazing if you enjoy early morning walks on the beach. The complex was busy with holiday makers which made it noisy but this was expected especially this time of the year. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

    Great location with a breath-taking beach view, house right on the beach. Host advised normally prefers not take bookings less than 48 hours. We made a last minute booking, a night before day of arrival but host accepted our booking and was able to accommodate us.

    The location is situated on the main road in town, close to the beach and other restaurants. Friendly staff on the first day reception and the dining area staff. Neat sleeping linen. Restaurant at the hotel and their staff were good and welcoming.
