We were looking forward to a 5 day beach experience.
We were looking forward to a 5 day beach experience. Sadly it rained but we still took the long walk over the bridge to the beach. It was probably too early in The season as only one beach side facility was open. Neglected cabins on the beach, closed down hotels all still show the impact of COVID. The town itself is dreary and the modern, square buildings hold no charm. The military background is evident. We travelled a long way to see very little and cut our trip short after only a day there.

A well run hotel with modern facilities and there is an excellent restaurant and chef. The surroundings are peaceful. As there is a large car park, a car is ideal as the town and beaches are not far away. Glad the good reviews were accurate.

The town of Sabaudia itself has a very typical fascist...
The town of Sabaudia itself has a very typical fascist architecture, some might like it, others no. But the beach and actually all the Circeo Nature Reserve Park offers wonderful sceneries to those who love nature any time during the day. At the sea you can stay in organized places or enjoy the free sandy seaside just very close to the town. You find several good restaurants where the price and quality are really good. I love the place called "Dove inizia il Mare" for its great sea-view and lovely stuff. Not far away is a lovely medieval city San Felice di Circeo on top of the Monte Circeo, in case you would like to have a romantic walk in the evening. Anihow, I would not recommend Sabaudia during the Italian holiday season (July, August), as it gets really too crowded.UlleItaly - 8.0Scored 8.0

Sweet little beach town, not too crowded (except on weekends). The beach is nice, there's a beautiful national park close by to satisfy all of your hiking needs, and the food is amazing! Go for fresh seafood in one of the many beach restaurants (highly recommend Chiosco Torre Paola), eat pizza in various varieties with the locals at Pizzeria al Cigno 2, and have THE BEST gelato around the corner at Gelateria Cuore Matto (who also have some lactose free ice cream as well as granita de pistachio!). I would have loved to stay a few more days!

The walk to the beach through a little Wood is less than 10 Minutes. At the beach there are a few beds and umbrellas, but also open space, a bar and showers. The rooms are lovely, welcoming and clean. The bath is huge and has a window with a view. Giacomo, the owner, and Gabriella, his coworker, took care of everything. Had wonderful suggestions for trips and dinner and made us wonderful colazione. Thanks for this extraordinary holiday!CarolineGermany

The hosts were very helpful and kind. The room was super clean. And as for the breakfast - home made cakes and bread were just amazing. We came without a car, but we were able to use bikes from the hotel. It took around 10-15 min by bike to the sea with a great view on the fields full of different plants. I definitely recommend this place!

The hotel itself has been built in vernacular style and completed in very stylish, harmonious and well thought-out manner. The staff at the hotel was very friendly to small children, especially in the restaurant. The breakfast is decent and served in a hall with an open view to the sea. There is also an outside swimming pool, a gym and beach seats.

My elderly mother had difficulty getting up to her bed as the bathrooms are downstairs. Aside from that, the room served its purpose. Each room has a little patio area with seating which is nice. The grounds are well kept. The beach is close by which is a plus. We ordered dinner which wasn't anything to note. Breakfast, which is included, was like a continental style.

There are shops and restaurants in the nearby, but most importantly the bus station is down the street, so you can quickly arrive to the beach. Loved having the cycles freely available as we could get to beach and bar without driving. While the were lots of mosquitos, Orlando warned us and provided coils and internal and external zappers. That plus window screens meant they were not an issue.
