We only stayed 1 night on our way further south. Seemed to be the only place open far and wide. Very kind hosts (even though our Italian is very limited) - my wife was given a little posy of herbs and Edelweiss as we left! Our room was cosy, beautifully renovated, with a nice balcony. The bar was inviting and there would be a lovely beer garden in warmer weather.

The owner and his mother were extremely friendly and helpful, the home grown produce and meals were beautiful. A bonus was garage parking for the motorcycle. We really enjoyed are stay here.

The location was incredible in the middle of the valley with huge mountains surrounding it, and the crystal clear water river flowing a few steps from the hotel, at the other side of the road. The staff were really helpful and helped us not only with hotel-related stuff, but also with our hiking plans. They were warm and welcoming and went far and beyond sometimes to help us.
