In the winter, this town isn't convenient because of the road conditions from Rovaniemi and there are closer places to stay near the ski hills if that's what you want. In town, only a handful of restaurants are open and options are limited. There are plenty of supermarkets to get groceries though so you have other food options available. In summer, it feels like it would be a great small town to go explore Lapland when more things are open.JoshUnited States

There were a beach and some nice places to hike nearby, overall the setting was idyllic and very beautiful. The apartment was quite spacious with comfortable beds and reasonably fast internet. The lady running the place was very nice and even offered us a lift to town when we were leaving.

Even if I wanted, I can not fault the cleanliness despite the age of the place. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. I stayed one night in middle of a week and it was very quiet. I wonder if the same is true during the weekend since there is a bar in ground floor.

The owner was a very kind a friendly lady who gave us many tips on activities and prepared us a beautiful Sauna, with a fireplace at our disposal to relax after that.
