In Cogolin itself, there is not much to see or do, except for some great wineries (e.g. Chateau St. Maur that is excellent) and for enjoying walks in the nature. It has, however, a nice bakery and great fruit shops as well as a large supermarket (ELeclerc) and cheap petrol station (ELeclerc).
What is really nice is that, while it is not very touristic, it is centrally located to go to:
- Grimaud (10 min)
- St. Tropez (20 min)
- St. Maxime and further (20 min) towards Fréjus for beaches
- Toulon (port) - 50 min
- Marseille - 1hr 45 min
- Countryside driving/cycling towards Grasse / La Croix-Valmer, etc.
- Fréjus/St. Raphael - 50 min
- Cannes - 1.5 hr
- Nice - 1hr45min
And for further driving: Italy: 2 hrs)

Left that with no place to stay but my car and lm glad l did. Remote property near st Tropez
A really creepy experience. When I told host we didn't feel safe to stay he said Booking would return our money, knowing Booking needed his approval first. He said no, so Booking said no. Didn't sign his safety waiver nor agree to civil litigation he demanded when we arrived either. Booking should have helped me with this.
I live five thousand miles from property and had to rely on owners description. If I end up paying money for this nightmare I'll find another agent for my trips in

Wonderful place, with amazing view from the apartament.
Wonderful place, with amazing view from the apartament. It looks exactly as the photo!!! Inside there is everything that you might need, during the stay. It will be good if the owner, or agency, never mind put the number of the apartament outside the door, it is difficult to find which one door is the exact.Other thing which is very uncomfortable, that we must take the towels ant bed linen from the agency to the apartament by hand, if you do not have cars is dificult to bring your own bags+etc. The place is great, but you mignt need car or biке. The place is very big to get it by food only.
This was a reasonably priced hotel for the St. Tropez area. We picked it because it was out of town for a more reasonable rate thinking we could go back and forth to St. Tropez. Turns out the traffic between this hotel and downtown St. Tropez was crazy bumper to bumper so we just slept here and left the next morning. This hotel had what looked like a nice pool and other activities that would be great for a family to take advantage of then we didn't.
After miserable accommodation in La Croix, I decided for this hotel and it was a bingo! Situated at the old square, quiet surrounding, available parking just in front, nice relaxed atmosphere, very kind and professional staff, excellent breakfast. The room was great, too. Bathroom large and all included. Beds were great and for some reason - the pillows were remarkable. Really slept well.

Stayed in Cogolin before at a different property but this one is better. Swimming pool very close and cleaned nearly every morning by pool man. Excellent and quiet location. I broke the end off a kitchen knife but we replaced it and also purchased a can opener as there wasn't one and left it there for others.
- right in the center of Cogolin town. Restaurants nearby, I recommend the Cote Jardin restaurant, it has a nice garden and very good food.
- room is big enough, clean. The view from the room right to the city centre is wonderfull. Bathroom also looks nice
- wifi works good
Margaret was very helpfull every time when i had questions. The appartent is very comfortable. It is proper for many days in that area of France. Swimmpool very gut. All necesary stuff for cooking is on place. Very good facilities.
Great sized property for a family as well as location relative to beaches. Very quiet. Small supermarket next door, variety of resturants less than 150 metres and local beach 100 metres away. Secure undercover parking.
This appartment was really good. The price for the room is totally worth. Saint-tropez is 10 minutes drive and there is many restaurants below the hotel. We had a good time and we definitly recommend.
Excellent location in the beautiful port of Cogolin. Quiet, too. Lovely views…
Very clean and nicely furnished apartment. Detailed instructions were very helpful.
