I loved everything about this hotel: the safe location next to the castle, close to restaurants and shops, comfy bed and pillows, hot shower, but most especially the amazing service. Doriane was not only helpful in terms of a friendly receptionist; she went above and beyond to help me search and book bus and train tickets, look into my next destination, recommend restaurants and things to see in Dinan and more. Thank you Doriane! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

From the moment you enter you get a great welcome. Check in is smooth and effortless. The room was spotlessly clean and warm. Not sure why this hotel is only rated 2 star, because it’s defiantly more like a 4 star. Great price too. Location is great and a short 5 minute walk gets you to the busy area of Dinan. Breakfast was great and well priced.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only spent a day in Dinan as we were on our way home at the end of our holiday. Dinan is beautiful and worthy of a longer stay. We will definitely go back and spend more time there and in the area.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants.
We plan to return another time.
Rooms are recently renovated with good taste and good quality materials. Very nice bathroom, all very clean. Good breakfast (more choice than usual in France). Very good location on short walking distance of the old centre of Dinan and its cosy boutiques and restaurants. We could have a private parking place nearby (not posh, but secured). Extremely kind hosts who provide you with perfect service.
So nice to stay in such a great historical building! Much better fun than any hotel! …. three of us lads touring on motorcycles, lovely to be able to get food and cook in, put our feet up and momentarily feel like we ‘lived in Dinan’ .. simply fab! Loved the eclectic cool decor too… Had three fabulously fun nights there. Will remember the place fondly for a long time!
Isabelle is a very pleasant, welcoming hostess - her home is beautiful - we found the bed very comfortable & the breakfast was delicious - it's a lovely scenic walk from the accommodation, along the towpath, into Dinan picture postcard port, which then leads up into the wonderful historic centre of the town - we throughly enjoyed our stay with Isabelle
Wonderful location on main street of historical village. Staff spoke English and were gracious and helpful. Good breakfast. Quiet room, comfortable beds. Elevator. Room service or meals provided in the hotel even tho’ they don’t have a restaurant. Only steps to shops and restaurants. Secure parking on premises. Highly recommend!
Good location, very clean, staff were lovely, unfortunately we didn’t eat here but other guests said how good the food was.
Little bus runs from port Dinan (over the bridge)stops outside Duchess Anne saves walking up the hill, you would need to check if this is for summer months only.large market held in car park near Duchess Anne.
It’s very conveniently located near the motorway if you have a car. Lots of parking. Accommodating for our dog. Friendly and efficient staff. They were very quick to reply to us with any questions we had before arriving at the hotel. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
We loved everything about our stay at La Maison Pavie—the historic building, the extremely thoughtful renovation in 2010, the owner/host Jérôme, the delicious breakfast, the ideal location, the cleanliness, the free parking, the entire town! Have I left anything out?
The location, just slightly away from historic center, made it convenient to park. The kitchen and garden were delightful. When I return to Dinan, I'll stay here. I had a shared bathroom room. Owner Christine provided instructions and everything worked.
A good base to visit Dinan when arriving by car. We were able to check-in, drop everything & walk into the old town & down to the port for dinner.
Good sized room with kitchenette.
Had a relaxing hour in the pool at the end of the second day.
Amazing authentic place located in the most beautiful street of Dinan. I recommend to stay here if you want to travel in time. The hosts are very kind and the breakfast was excellent. You can park your car on the port for free (10 min walk)
The hotel was in a lovely old building in one of the old streets of Dinan close to the port area. It was very picturesque, a very quirky building beautifully decorated and with a lovely garden. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.
Superb location within walking distance to town and port of Dinan, wonderful restored house of 1760's, decorated in a lovely smart way, very clean, nice ambience. Parking inside the premises.
We loved the location of the hotel and Dinan itself is gorgeous. Also loved the garden with spectacular view of the castle. Dinan is a wonderful city and wish we could have had longer.
In a good location in Dinan Port. Close to a number of good restaurants and a 10/15 minute walk uphill to Dinan old town. Comfortable standard size room. The hotel has a nice pool.
This was the most perfect location in Dinan, right on the ancient historic street. The apartment was very nice and well equipped with a lovely terrace.
